The MUSHROOM MONSTERS have sprouted in the shop! These models represent the creatures detailed in the "Fungi" and "Myconid" sections of the 5E MM. Make these myconids YOURconids! Also, if you missed them, I released a FREE set of Lunar New Year BOARBARIANS!

I love the guy with the mushrooms popping out of him. We are growing something like eight different types of mushrooms at work right now. Watching them develop day to day I can totally visualize this. I recall watching a program a while back about a fungus that was really wreaking havoc on Tasmanian devil populations, but the most interesting part was when they studied the fungus it turned out to be one organism. Sort of like chantrelles, one big under ground organism, which is why you can't propagate them. Also there is a fungus somewhere in a rain forest that I can't remember, that takes control of an ant's nervous system, or the equivalent there of, and makes them climb to the top of a leaf and hang from it in order that the fungus can propagate.

Thanks! Fungus-face guy is based directly on Cordyceps mushrooms (The zombie ant controllers) In the original version, the fungus looked much more like cordyceps, but I later gave them red caps to match the myconids.
