Hey everyone! Just messing around today and printed a quick test run of some 10 mm orcs for minihammer/KoW. I'm surprised at the readability I could get at that small scale. Anxious to see how they look with some color. Let me know what you think! Would you use these?

They look good. I tried that about a year or so ago. I bought a load of fantasy figures from One Monk. i meant to scale them down to 15 mm, but for some reason or other, they came out closer to 10 mm: If it wasn't for my using cheap re-fill ink for my printer, they would have looked better.

ah, nice! I was wondering about a white border... I will have to do some tests.
I decided to go with 15 mm in the end.
How did they feel on the battlefield? I believe the smaller scale would be better at creating the illusion of 3D with just the artwork.

The weren't too bad - mine looked a bit sparse, as I only played with them a few times on a plain table top - no scenery, just really to get back into that particular rule-set. I think the white borders are better than black at that size, but feel that I had left too much border around the edges. The thick border tends to obscure the other figures. I thought that is I go for fantasy wargaming again, I might even print them on clear acetate sheets, so you can see through the borders.
