I have long thought what to do with the "steel warriors" and I came to the decision to change the format of the project.
Unfortunately, I no longer believe that the project will have a setting and I do not want to wait another 15-20 years until it appears.
I want to publish all the "steel" miniatures in a period of 2-3 years, as well as finish the remaining 28 models. In total, the project includes 86 releases. I also have several less global ideas that I have long wanted to make
My new project will be called "Tomoko's Paper Miniatures"
Now I am not bound by the framework of one project and I can do non-steel miniatures too. I began to prepare materials in a new format. One release will be either one sheet of infantry, or one model. The setting will not be included, because it is not my intellectual property. Only figures and models, and assembly instructions. Of course, the price of the product without the setting will be lower.
I plan to release 4-5 releases per month. Then the "steel warriors" will be fully released in 2 years.
I am planning sets with 2D contour miniatures of vehicles and tanks, and sets of top-down miniatures. These miniatures are very easy to make from 3D models. Suitable as an option for the lazy.
In two years I plan to do several small projects. Each of the projects will take no more than 1-2 months. After that, I plan to stop developing paper miniatures.
I echo the sentiments of Vermin King. Not only are you very talented, but incredibly prolific. The paper world will be at a loss without you. Salt and bitter can be quite lasting tastes on the tongue, perhaps one day you will find a suitable palate cleanser in order that you may continue to cook up fantastic minis, and models. May whatever path you choose find you well.
i was never born, i just am, and i've been dead for years.

You definitely have some amazing talent and I love your minis, models, and your art style! I'm really glad that you will still release models and that you will also now have the opportunity to work on ideas you've been wanting to do, really excited to see what you have in mind!
Vermin King, pavaro, ignatious, uptrainfan89, thank you, Dear Friends! I am currently working on the design of future releases. I will not draw complex illustrations on the title bar, where I will probably use miniatures and photographs. To do this, you need to make a bit of a natural terrane in order to take photos with figures (and not with wall or a monitor on background))). This terrain will also be released. I also think over the new logo. I want to make a small set of issues for 2-3 months in advance before starting. Then I can prepare new releases and make new models at the same time. I planned to start the project for the twelfth anniversary of the project, that is, on June 10
I won’t give up paper miniatures completely, I think. I just won't try to do big projects anymore - it's better to make small sets on a different themes.

Very glad to hear it, sir.
I was very disappointed when this project went belly up. I had never seen such a large-scale game develop. There was a lot of thought and effort that went into it and it looked like it was nearing the finish line. It is a real shame that it couldn't continue.
I'm sure that however you restructure, it will be of the same exemplary design and craftsmanship that you have shown in the past.
'Sets and themes' sounds really good. Will it still be in modern/near future genre?
There are no strangers in this world, only people I haven't embarrassed ... yet!
Vermin King, Im old ZX Spectrum-fun, and some my ideas based on speccy games. ZX Spectrum wasnt popular in USA, but very popular in Russia. 1. Wasteland Battle Machines - idea based on first RTS game Nether Earth. I plan to create a robot designer like the way it was in the game. There will be several types of chassis and several types of weapon modules. Modules will be inserted into each other and rotated. It will be possible to collect robots of different configurations.
2. Sets of miniatures based on Rebelstar and Lasersuad series. Of course, with strong differences, so as not to violate copyright
3. Xeno Wars - it was in 2001, I made a board game about the battle of two insectoid races. The rules turned out to be bad and boring (I already realized that I was a bad game designer))), but the miniatures are still preserved. I drew them on paper with gel neon pens, and now I think that they can be redrawn on a computer
4. Also I want to create remakes some old soviet models and boardgames from my childhood
Don't worry Giorgio! All we adult people, I'm always glad to your letters Thank you for your recomendations!
>1 - 1 USD is too little. It devalues these products imho.
I wanted to make these two sets like a promo. These are duplicate sets in their essence. The Southern light infantry of Keno is the addon of the Northeast Infantry. Self-defense forces are an addition to Otlok regular infantry. I thought that they could be bought by a person who sees "steel warriors" the first time and who does not know if he will be interested in this. The rest of the infantry will cost depending on the complexity and diversity of units
>2 - If it is possible an option with normal eyes allows the use of these figures also with other settings / rules.
I was thinking about options, but I still don’t know how to best implement them technically. Whether to impose a separate jpg file or use a vector. And there and there their pros and cons. In any case, I will update the files as I choose the technical implementation of the options.
1. "Steel Warriors". The new release will be today, not in a week. It will be an armored personnel carrier Hen-Khalar. There will be three versions of the APC - Lianra, androids and Alana version. Also in the set will include flat 2d-miniatures
2. "Wasteland Battle Machines". Ready 3d-prototypes of next modules.
Cabins. Further I will call them the "Operator Module" 1. Light operator module with two weapon slots A-A type 2. Light operator module with two weapon slots A-B type 3. Light operator module with one weapon slot C type
Weapons modules 1. Basic machinegun turret type A 2. Basic cannon type B 3. Basic cannon type C (+ A type slot)
Models will be made as a designer. You will be able to assemble and disassemble combat vehicles. You can combine different types of weapons and chassis, depending on the tasks And these are just light types of chassis and weapons! There will be more medium and heavy chassis. Weapons of type "base" - stock. I have planned a wide range of different weapons
I thought about the genre and decided that it would not be science fiction, but dieselpunk
So, I released a reissue of the Lianrian motorized infantry. This month I have exceeded the release plan. Therefore, I want to take a short break with the “steel warriors” and take up a set of special effects and Im going to start "Wasteland Battle Machines" project.
By the end of April, I plan to publish a set of special effects. The set will include the following miniatures: 1. Fire 2. Chemical fire 3. The explosion 4. Smoke screen 5. Poisonous cloud At the moment, only fire and explosion are ready. A set of special effects will be common to all my projects.
In the development of the WBM are the following sets: 1. Light set: chassi and operator modules - this set will include not only chassi and cabins, but default weapons A-, B- and C-type 2. Light weapons: A- and B-type
cowboyleland: It looks like you guys are busy, but I would like to point out that the "Ghoul Design Tutorial." which would start to answer bobsomething 's question from Aug 10, is MIA (again)
