I apologize - I wasn't sure where to post this request or even if this type of request is "allowed".
I'm looking for someone who would be willing to do some custom paper mini's - specifically some of the PC's for an upcoming campaign I'm running as well as some of the monsters that aren't covered by current One Monk sets.
I don't know if it's kosher to ask that sort of thing here. (I don't want to try to take business away from Jim...) If this post has to be deleted I compeltely understand.
But if there is an artist out there willing to help out I'd really appreciate it. I'm completely talentless when it comes to anything artistic, so I won't even pretend I can try this on my own. Of course I'm more than willing to work out a fair deal to compensate you for your time and effort.
Thanks again.

Buck, I think what you are looking for is more in the line of this thread. It list some of the request for One Monk's fantasy line. I know Jim is pretty booked. I'm not all that sure about commissioning work. I know I am not ready for that, but maybe some of the other artists here may be able to help you.

I knew about that thread - but I figured that was requests specifically for Jim, and I know his plate is already MORE than full. Even if he were kind enough to entertain my requests it probably wouldn't be for months, and our campaign is kicking off around the end of June. I'm looking for someone who can help me get a handful of figures turned around pretty quickly.

I'm sure I could be tempted. What sort of figs are we talking about?

I'm sure I could be tempted. What sort of figs are we talking about? Mostly the PC's that my players have created for this campaign. We're starting the 4E campaign that is being published on the D&D insider - the Scales of War. We'll be on the first adventure - Rescue at Rivenroar. The players have made a Dragonborn Invoker, a Goliath Warlord, and possibly a Shifter Paladin. (He may change his mind and go Dragonborn, he's not sure.) We also have an Eladrin Rogue and a Human Scorcerer, but I think I can find exisiting One Monk figs that will do the job for these. I could use some generic townsfolk, (barkeep, patrons, wench, town council member) which I know is on Jim's To-Do list, but again it may be months before he gets to them. I could use a handful just to get me by for this adventure. I've seen the Himmleville ones available at WWG and didn't care much for them (I like Jim's style better) but in a pinch I could use them. Then I'll probably need a few monster figs as well to round out the creatures in the dungeon. Guard Drakes, Rage Drakes, Ettercaps, and then some variations on Hobgoblins - some archers and grunts to compliment the awesome Hobgobin Jim released in his goblinoid pack. I didn't think I needed that much - but now that I type it out it looks like a lot more than I expected. 3 PC figs, 3 or 4 NPC figs and 4 or 5 monster figs. So worst case - about a dozen.

I think I will add a board for this kind of thing in the members projects category. This way anyone can put up their requests.
I'll move this post there once I get it setup. JIM

Oh yea! I have no problem at all. I just want to make a way to make it easier. Like you said, I don't have time for figure commissions right now, although I thought to at least put up a price to do them that would be worth my time.
I'll get the board setup. JIM

I wanted to give this one last small "bump" just to see if anyone is willing to help out. I've got a few weeks to get this done. If anyone's interested please post and I'll get in touch with more details. A general idea of what I need is posted above.
Thanks again.
