Crankies! We haven't gotten May put together yet, so end of week is fine. Sounds great, I was actually assembling the files for the last two months last night. I can build a composite preview picture form the pictures that have been posted so no worries in that area. The shuttle looks great.

I thought this was pretty cool, moonpans.com/vr/apollo11_lm.htm?r=jI wish Armstrong hadn't been a camera hog. He took almost all of the photos, so he isn't in them, except one where Aldrin took a photo of his backside, and then his reflection in Aldrin's helmet I read a book which suggested that Aldrin refused to take Armstrong's picture. On all previous EVA missions, it was the co-pilot who lead the EVAs. That was true on the Gemini missions too. Armstrong had already done an amazing job landing the lander. Aldrin should have been the first man on the moon, but Armstrong (as Captain) selected himself instead. Much to everyone's surprise. Every time Armstrong asked Aldrin to take a photo of him, Aldrin just laughed and selected his own shots. Petty revenge maybe, but he would have felt like he'd been cheated. That's what the book said anyway...

Wow. Didn't know that. When a person stops learning, they are done. Thanks

Wow. Didn't know that. When a person stops learning, they are done. Thanks Hi Vermin King! You know: you're not wrong. I've done some more digging and there are some contrary opinions! This comment on Quora was enlightening: How did Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin decide who stepped outside first? It seems like Aldrin was lucky to even get on the mission! *Gobsmacked!* So I've certainly learned a bit more about it. And that article certainly has the 'ring of truth' to it, doesn't it.
Have you read the transcript of the landing of the LEM? Seems like they were very lucky to have landed upright.

And this set has already been headlined on the Papermau website for August 20! Well done all-round, especially given the One Monk site problems recently!

We got our project out before Canon did, creativepark.canon/en/special/animal_space_cid/index.htmlI really want to build their LEM, though. Also, the new Coelecanth is only a two-pager and it appears that most of the animals do not have white inner legs like a lot of their models have EDIT -- Quite a few of them do have the white inner legs, and they all have those obnoxious dotted lines...
