Just thought we'd share this, Adam has been working hard all day. Adam says: 'I'm 14 and I've got a bit of Autism'

Looking good, Adam. A couple of years and some lessons in anatomy and you'll be king o' the minis. I think this one needs a glow instead of the standard black outline, but that's just me.

Adam!
NICE job dude!
I really like the coloring and those spikes are wicked cool!
Are you planning on doing a backside as well?
Keep up the excellent work!

Very nice. I can see he picked up on the glowing color pallet. Just as mentioned, a few years of diligent practice and I'll have some serious competition, and will welcome it!
I recommend finding pictures of stuff ont he internet, then try to replicate the look and feel of them. This is how I started, even tracing some stuff to get e feel for the anatomy, and what details are needed at this scale. JIM

Encouraging him to look for images on the internet is not a problem, believe me He's doing better than my nephew (who's also Adam). There was a point three years ago where I had a class of three boys, all called Adam. Not as complicated as it sounds.

I have found that if you trace the stuff you like the design and style of, you will get enough muscle memory from those tracings to replicate the style you like, and then give it your own twist. Copy to learn, then develop your own style, trace some of my stuff! JIM
