Vermin King you had a problem with the wings before, I just found this under the toutoril I did LOL!!!!! " You are a born story-teller. And I now know how I screwed up the wings on your eagle. Thank you, sir. Okay, a word of explanation. I assumed the dotted line was more of a crease, glued the wings together as 'over and under', not 'right and left'. I feel enlightened. Probably because I shut off my phone" I saw that, too we've been friends for a really LONG Time LOL!!!

Another one version - swimming crocodile. BTW I'm starting to add contours, tabs/bases etc. to all versions

How many versions will there be? You can't have too many gators and crocs in a paper jungle. I probably would prefer not to have so many in a real jungle, not that I will probably ever visit a jungle again in this life.

Although I thought more different figurines = better, more interesting Hoard and more possibilities and fun for players I can imagine that some versions like "ambusher" (croco hidden in the thickets), and ATTACKING one, with jaws wide open could be useful. Then... very basic version - ie simple A-B side crocodile without any ground, but high resolution and size (so it can bu used for modding, scaling etc.) But OK if you don't like it or there is no free space in (digital) hoard file So I'll only deliver only obvious/basics: land/sand and water, it's cool.

mesper, Vermin King was stating that the more crocs there are, the better the Hoard will be.

Exactly right! More is better! I was stating that in the wild I wouldn't want to see many or any at all.
Sorry for the misunderstanding

Cut-off version with only 3 basic crocos It's hi-res jpg made from 300dpi RGB, you can cut it / replace tabs, etc.

I would prefer to be where they aren't.

One more approach! So imagine that you are travelling by boat down the river... and of both banks, on escarpments and fallen tree trunks such beast are lurking and watching you, just patiently waiting...

Although, the tree crowns are an alteration of an alteration on his design, I wanted to have Chris's (Tektonten's) approval, which I got this morning for the crown of the trees
I did print the medium sized tree at lunch today and scored it. Hope to work on it after work tonight

Very nice Vermin King. Make up a dozen of those and place them on my card table with some green and blue felt and we have a real jungle setting for a fight. Will all the trees have the ledge or just the large one?

Medium jungle tree also has the ledge, but further down the trunk to allow for figures placed on it

There's still time to get your project finished and submitted!

Well, as usual, not enough time... I also planned attacking croco version (with the jaw open), and the "standalone" /clear variant - without any ground and tab - for easy modding and MOD-KIT. But at least I managed with these another two. So in total 5 different crocodiles from Permes for this Hoard:)

Very much so. I still want to come back to a nautical theme some time and play with reflective bases. I think the concept is a good one, just not easy to do in a convincing fashion

I've got all of the submissions, including Aaron's horde, laid out and printed. I'll start building today, unless I faall asleep again. I finished the layout work yesterday afternoon and then took a 15 hour nap. The jungle is exhausting.

We'll end this horde the same way it began, with song! Also my wife said this song was essential to this Horde.

I don't know why, but the hippo reminds me of Oha (aka Paul Bates) from "Coming to America"...

Did you know that 75% of the world is covered by jungle? Not this world of course, some other world that's filled with Amazons, crocodile swarms, lizardmen, giant bugs, huge trees, rebellious Gorillas and a jungle buggy to view the all from. All of this and more now available in Forum Horde #181-Into the Jungle! onemonk.com/fh-2019.htmlI decided to break it up into three downloads as it would have made for an extremely crowded preview pic to have all of the submissions in at once. This also allowed me to add a download to the "House of Hopkins" guest artists section since Aaron's jungle entry was quite prodigious. Thanks to Antohammer, Verminking, Aaron Hopkins, and Mesper/Permes for all of your great entries in this Horde!

It all looks really good, doesn't it? Some hoards just seem to come together and have a life of their own
