We've been there several times recently and though it's a small zoo it's still very very good. Gorilla enclosure is very cool.

No but seems to me that one could make one from the reindeer from the horde and some wings off of one of Eddnic's models like the griffin or Phoenix. I'd throw one together but I'm kind of covered up artwork at the moment.

Hey guys, a couple of years ago when I first got into paper minis and was the lurkyiest lurker that ever lurked, I found a PDF for some ratmen that I really dug. There were a few standard vermin, but also some bipedal ones, including one with some wolverine class and several that seemed to be operating a flintlock rifle as a cannon. Well I found this back when all I had was a black and white printer, and now that I've got a color one I'd like to make a new set. It seems to me that I found them on this forum but to be honest I could have found them anywhere. Do they ring any bells with anyone?

Kantcon actually, I spelled it wrong. It's a gaming/tabletop rpg convention on the 24-26 of July. Going to try to go to it providing there's some shadowrun or Durance scheduled. Went to my first gaming convention last fall and had a blast. www.kantcon.com

Had to hurry to get what I had finished so I could print off a sheet to fool with while I'm at work tonight. Vermin King I agree absolutely a 2d version needs to be out there. I personally prefer the more 3d models but I still have a whole binder of 2d ones for when I have to run a game away from home For differentiating between a paper mini rider and a more standard style one the mount model could have an extra layer to adjust for this. Or, as I'm considering doing have a sort of "plug" to go in the back when the mount doesn't have a rider kind of like a Lego horse. berneart76 can't wait to see what model you come up with! Variety is the spice of life! Edit: after first test assembly I see I forgot to finish a few parts. Also, there's a real weak spot near the front where the toothpick is pointing. I think I can solve this by moving the position I had earlier envisioned for the front legs.

I actually started on the same project tonight while at work. It looks a bit of a mess now but I'll put it together once I get home and have a chance to scan what I've got so far. It's a very similar style to the motorcycle but I'm going to use a dust cloud to make up for stability and the leg issues.

cowboycentaur, I made a hippogriff by mashing eddnic's griffon and unicorn together. The griffon legs were strong enough that I could just cut a little "x" in its back and stuff a plastic gnome figure up from the underside. I also had a dino rider hafling once. Both the dino and rider were out of paper. I drew his legs on the dino and had his upper body a detachable piece. I had a separate whole figure for when he was dismounted. you wouldn't happen to have a photo of the end result would you? those sound cool!

These are awesome! I need to see if there's some way to do something like this with some of Eddnic's quadrupeds or griffon.

Oh awesome, I thought there were some in the hordes but I just couldn't seem to find them maybe once I get my act together on my kobolds and dwarves I can do a few for a drow settlement. Currently my players are trapped in a drow prison full of the undead and a prison gang of halfing supremacists.

Is there any chance of progress on this or are they somewhere I've missed? I'm needing some drow and the imperfect ones don't quite float my boat

I use these 20mm card holders from blankdice.co.uk/ I use a bunch of different colored ones so it's easier to keep track of which goblin got axed. They're small and fit in my binder and are 12¢ each. I didn't vote as there wasn't a "none of the above" or "other" option. I use permanent card bases, but I would prefer to use those card holders. I had seen them on another website, but forgot where and forgot what they were called, so couldn't find them Now I know! Thanks cowboycentaurDelighted to help! I used to use permanently attached bases, but this way k can keep my minis in a baseball card sheet and really make storage more efficient.
