Patreon does seem pretty neat! I know Sarah over at Codex Games has made some really nice looking minis! She's also working on some really neat Sci-fi minis with front and back art too!
(Concept Stage Pic.) I really love their artwork but I haven't seen anything posted on their Patreon for a very long time,

Oh crap, I just saw this and thought it was for next month. Maybe I can throw in a late entry? Haven't had a very good track record with minis I've started though,

Yeah, these are very nice. I signed up at the $2 level, which gets you all the minis, but not the spell and item cards, Yeah the spell and item cards seem really nice, but I've already invested so much time and effort into my Paul Weber ones, and I'm pretty happy with those ones already besides. TBH I prefer the png files as I can flip them fairly easily, and I can utilize more blank space on the sheet by arranging them myself in GIMP. I do the same thing with my printable heroes minis anyway for the same reason, and also I find them to be just a little bigger than I'd like, and I want to keep all my minis from other creators a uniform size.

They all look great, but I love the goblins! They do, they're gonna look fantastic next to my printable heroes ones!

Well the kelvin incident is before TOS splits off from the Abrams movie so this is still correct as far as uniforms go for the tv series we know and love. This is the starfleet uniform worn between Archer's era and Kirk's in either timeline. Also, Bryan Fuller one of the series developers has stated specifically that this is in the "prime" timeline, so as not to conflict with any potential movies and complicate things. m.imdb.com/news/ni60198003/

A few yearsback, I only had access to a black and white printer. I printed up some of Ebbles' Terra Force figures and coloured them with water clour paints. Haha I did the very same with some minis from this very forum and with some fat dragon trees.

I've enjoyed matt's stuff for quite some time, they look great as is but man they just wouldn't look right up against my chromatic miniatures. Man though just that color scheme would look nice by itself though,

Have you discovered 'Grids' yet? They really help with alignment issues Oh man I just figured out how to do those recently and OMG what a difference they make.

Looks good to me too. Maybe fill in/black out a couple of the gaps - such as the "triangle" between his spear, quiver and bow - so that OCD types like myself don't try and cut out teeny-tiny bits, but other than that looks good to go to me!! Haha I do the same thing. I try and trim as close as possible to my minis but I do like a black border with no white.

Yes I am planning to make the "additions" as layers so you can turn them on and off. Plants, fireplace etc. I am nut sure what is meant with "cast the shadow ring". You mean the direction of the sun? I don't think that would be feasible. Why would that be important? I think autocorrect got the better of him and he meant to type "in which case the shadow ring should go" Referring to the darker area inside the piled up stones which is presumably is a shadow caused by the tent itself.

Also, I REALLY like the idea of the chairs being standees so as not to get in the way of the miniatures. I may try and expand on something like this.

He's also got a cool OST enterprise bring and some decent crewman minis. Someone pointed me out to his dinosaur minis which worked great, however they're mirrored. Some neat gladiators and Neolithic hunters but again, sadly they're mirrored.

May be worth keeping the interior "decoration" on a separate PDF layer, since to me, that ring of stones base tile would also work as a very ancient collapsed hut circle (given it looks very like real-world archaeological examples of ancient European Bronze Age roundhouse remains - just a crude rounded shape of stones, mostly grassed over). Also useful simply as an abandoned campsite. Scatter some Orc tent pole frames and some scraps of junk and you're set to fight the dragon that just destroyed the Orc village.

some plant added and a touch of grid ... I don't think placing objects on the grid will help to make nature look natural. Of course I could sprinkle some white dust or little rocks on the grid but I would prefer it like this. What do you say? I like that a great deal!

I honestly like both of them, with the option of a gradient to include both for variety.
I run a lot of campaigns in monument valley/arches national park type landscapes, so this is very exciting to me! Something to to change it up a bit from my Worldworks deadfall tiles.
Some larger rocks. Some trails, roads, maybe a bleached skull or two. A few clumps of dead grass, some burrowholes for snakes and scorpions, maybe some cracks in the soil, maybe some spots where the wind has collected the desert sands into some small drifts,
some grid lines that blend into the terrain would be nice.

For all the crap the theme music during the intro credits got, it always made me choke up a little bit when you take into account the rough time earth had gone through pre first contact

This is the kind of packaging I'm talking about, but come to think of it you could probably just use the kind you use for a cake or box of doughnuts from the grocery store. I'll grab a few on the way home from work and let you know how it worked.
