Its a shame really that these people hide away and never talk to the people they are hurting, they wont come on here and explain what they are doing as they know what they are doing is wrong.

Hehe. I almost wish I had stayed out of it, but due to the way mediafire was trying to make it hard to get things removed, I felt it was the only way it would happen.

Its really simple, if they think that sharing products on the web helps the industry, then why didn't they ask the owners of the products for permission, because they know what the answer will be.

This is the response to my post by the guy who was uploading our products
I'd like to start out by saying that I did not consider this project to be piracy, as nothing was stolen. We encouraged the purchase of products, not any form of theft. That said, Y'know, you're entirely right. We may have lost sight of our initial goal of bringing access to those looking to enter and grow within the community, advertise what was possible, teach others that they needn't spend hundreds on durable ceramic or plastic terrain, and COULD print perfectly useful terrain themselves. We did not thoroughly enough encourage others to provide support to the artists who made these works.
I have been dealing with the loss of my mother and it's kept me away from this place for quite some time in many ways. I understand your appeal, and I respect it. It's changed my consideration of whats gone on here, and I have taken steps to end it and this monolog should serve as a reminder to the cohorts here that they, too, need to go back and think about their level of contribution, and benefit, and support those who made this possible. But, that doesn't change the fact that none of us view this as theft or piracy. We have paid, and it is no different than printing off the sheets and mailing them to each other, which would be entirely legal (except it'd waste money on postage and such that we would rather spend on supporting these companies). This tiny community of people (last I knew, a dozen) are purchasing products and rights to print your art and while none of us could afford to purchase all of these alone, we did purchase far more patterns than the sum of us would have on our own. Partially from exposure, partially from frenzy and comradery. But, by making it available to each other and encouraging each other to purchase more, I know that I have spent more on these files than I had ever expected to. So, yes. You're right, we each should purchase them and not resort to a thread like this. But, if it wasn't for this thread, I'd have never purchased ANY of the dramascape or other company's products, especially after my first purchase more than $20 resulted in total disappointment.
I hope that along with me, my comrades have taken the opportunity to explore your (and other) families of products and have taken it upon themselves to Kickstarter and/or purchase other selections from your inventory. I know that I have spent all my excess income supporting this community rather than "cheating" it. Even though that contribution may be small, I did it genuinely wishing to help support the artist(s) involved. I, naturally, assume that EVERYONE here has done the same. And based on the emails and such that I get in private, I can clearly see that many in fact have done exactly that.
I have completely removed all product I have access to, yours and others. I will deactivate the accounts and remove myself from the threads. I apologize for any undue stress this has caused. I sincerely apologize, and am ashamed to admit that I may not have had much money to contribute but I did help facilitate the organization of this. Again, as I had stated above, I recognize that without this thread, I and several others may have never purchased these products and that I have consistently felt that those who were contributing did so not to cheat the companies, but rather help the community as a whole.
I hope that you (and the other artists) recognize that the array of products and services you offer are a valuable asset to the community as a whole. We appreciate the hard work you folks do for us, but not everyone can afford any form of reasonable variety. This thread was meant to help those individuals, and encourage others to support (through purchases) your efforts.
Since it has been brought to our attention that our small band has become too large and is deemed a detriment to your endeavors, again, I have voluntarily and swiftly ended the problem. If there is anything else I can do to continue to encourage the development of the gaming community, contribute to the longevity of gamers and our small niche of the economy, advertise and engage new players to explore options that will make their experience more enjoyable and bring more players to see the amazing opportunity in paper craft over bulky and expensive hobby materials, and encourage others to support you (and other company's) products and services, I would be interested to hear your thoughts.

So far WackyAnne you are the only one who has suggested it.
We actually process our maps so that they use 40% less ink than standard prints, we have been doing this for the last year.

DramaScape SciFi Volume 21 Airlock 4 is a full-color, 40 x 30 inch, floor plan of an Airlock, with Hex, Square and No overlay. The PDF includes includes the VTT (Virtual Table Top Images for online play). The PDF includes a 360° View of the map. “We need to scavenge some parts to fix the ship then rendez-vous back here and get off this station. Move out!” The product includes an intersection and a conjunctive airlock using our Sci-Fi Floor Tiles as the floor style. The product is intended for use in near and far future science fiction games. The product can be used as an expansion for the Sci-Fi Floor Tiles and Deadly Missions: Sector 15. Using it with the Sci-Fi Floor Tiles, it can be used as a starting piece for the Sci-Fi Floor Tiles to build the dungeon. The three corridors in Airlock 4 can be expanded upon to make a three-pathway dungeon very easily. Using it with Deadly Missions Sector 15, you can use it as the starting tile of the dungeon for a different scenario. In this scenario, the group is forced to dock with a mysterious space ship as their ship has had critical malfunctions in several systems and needs parts to be repaired. Remove the Escape Pod tile. The three parts that are used to activate the Escape Pod are used to fix the character’s ship in the airlock instead, meaning they must return to the starting tile to exit after getting the three parts needed to win the scenario. rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/116724/Airlock-4?affiliate_id=12615And here is the link for 50% off, this link expires Sunday 14th July rpg.drivethrustuff.com/index.php?discount=94040

Modern Ruins 02 DramaScape Modern Volume 14 This is a 48 x 30 inch Floor Plan of a Modern Ruins, it has Hex, Square and No Overlays, it also includes the VTT files for online play. The map suits Modern rpg. Game Masters need quality maps for their miniatures. DramaScape™ is committed to bringing Game Masters the maps they need. “That building looks mostly intact, if we can reach it, maybe we can find some shelter in there!” Modern Ruins Volume Two is an expansion to the Modern Ruins. The main features of the map are a brick covered vehicle in the northwest, a crushed car with no windows in the southeast, and two center buildings that are covered in rust. The center buildings appear somewhat intact on the outside, with some of the outer walls collapsed. Inside the buildings appear to have parts of the roof caved in. Some stairs are intact leading to what is left of the second level of the main building. The product is intended for use in modern or post apocalyptic settings. This could also be used as a modern ruin found in a near or far future scientific setting. The center buildings have a lot of strange rust on them. Unlike the first modern ruins map, this area appears very dry except for the plants around the northwest car. The area could be affected by some sort of acid rain that has accelerated the growth of rust on the buildings and burns plant life it comes into contact with, making most of the plants a dying brown color. It does the same thing for animal life. The group could be caught up in an acid storm and forced to run to the center building. They find the roof mostly collapsed and are forced to huddle under some of the second level scaffolds that are still intact. Some complications could be those second level scaffolds falling down upon the group or something malicious that has evolved to live in the acid rain, such as a mutated humanoid that secretes a counter acid to survive in the acid storms and sees the group as an easy meal. rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/116475/Modern-Ruins-02?affiliate_id=12615And here is the 50% off link, the link is valid until Wednesday 10th July. rpg.drivethrustuff.com/index.php?discount=37069

Inquisitor’s Sanctum DramaScape Free Volume 15 The Inquisitor’s Sanctum is a full-color, 16 x 30 inch, floor plan of an Inquisitor’s Sanctum, with Hex, Square and No overlay. This Product includes the VTT files for online play. Includes a 360° View of the map. Game Masters need quality maps for their miniatures. DramaScape™ is committed to bringing Game Masters the maps they need. “The holy flame shall burn the impure!” The Inquisitor’s Sanctum is a single room map depicting a secret or not so secret place where inquisitors interrogate and torture heretics for their blasphemy. This product includes a 360-degree view from the middle of the room. The Inquisitor’s Sanctum can be used in any time period or genre that features churches or religious sects. The genre it best fits is likely fantasy or Horror because of the theme of the room and it makes a great place for an investigation to lead to a creepy religious cult. In a fantasy world, perhaps the religious cult hates anyone who has access to magic. The adventure could begin with the capture of one of the group’s members or strong allies who wields magic. The group needs to investigate the site where he was kidnapped and follow the clues eventually leading to the inquisitor’s sanctum. There they witness the inquisitors torturing and interrogating magic users who have bound hands and blindfolds on to prevent them casting magic spells. The group breaks into the sanctum and has to try and free the prisoners and defeat the religious cultists. In a twist, perhaps the religious cultists even wield magic bestowed by the deity they worship. rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/116280/Inquisitor's-Sanctum?affiliate_id=12615

City Sewers DramaScape Modern Volume 12 This is a 48 x 30 inch Floor Plan of a City Sewers Section, it has Hex, Square and No Overlays, it also includes the VTT files for online play. The map suits Modern rpg. The PDF includes a 360° View of the map. Game Masters need quality maps for their miniatures. DramaScape™ is committed to bringing Game Masters the maps they need. “I didn’t do it man! It was the rats! The rrraattss! They don’t like light, heat, and noise in their domain!” This product includes a main city sewer with a bridge running across it that leads to a fork in the sewer as well as a cubbyhole room and an underground station (suitable for a underground power or gas lines). Printing additional sewer tiles can allow you to make a bigger sewer if needed. This product is intended for use in modern games but could also be used in near science fiction games where the sewer lines haven’t seen upgrades in quite some time. Other possibilities include horror or post apocalyptic games where the heroes run to the sewers to try and escape the horrors above in the city. The power or gas utility investigates a routine outage in the area. They find their control machines smashed in an obvious act of sabotage. The group is called in as detectives to investigate the crime scene and try and find the culprit. An odd blockade leads to a cubbyhole in the wall. A vagrant is asleep, using a wad of newspapers as a makeshift blanket. He awakens with a start when the group nears and runs towards a corner of the room. As the group questions him about the crime he starts tittering and becoming agitated and starts screaming (see above). He seems crazy and mentally disturbed. Some possibilities at this point are the man is simply an innocent homeless man who witnessed rats or ratmen attack the underground station. The group needs to go put a stop to whatever is controlling the rats. In a twist it could be the homeless man who has some sort of affinity for the rats allowing him to control them. Or perhaps the homeless man is in fact, a wererat, a lycanthrope who hates light and the sounds the machines make. As soon as the group turns their backs to leave, he transforms and attacks them from behind. rpg.drivethrustuff.com/product/115995/City-Sewers?affiliate_id=12615And here is a link for 50% off, the link is valid until Sunday 30th June rpg.drivethrustuff.com/index.php?discount=20718
