I wish I had an answer for you, @cowbocentaur , but my three sources for foam core are (in order of preference) The Dollar Tree Cheap (paper peels off easily), Fred Meyers (Has faint grid lines and paper peels off easily) and Walmart (slightly better quality than Dollar Tree).

Gracious! You guys are fabulous! bravesirkevin : How do I choose? They are all gorgeous! I think the fighter on the left (with his back to me) looks like he will do the job for my fighter PC. For Wizards, I like the the one in the third pic behind and to the right of the sneak and the one in the last pic. Thank you so much!

Hey dungeonmistress, I'm interested in doing some giants to add to the Norse Gods figs I did in the Pantheon showcase. Maybe you could do a google image search and put up some examples of illustrations or figs you like of the different giant races...just to give me an idea of what you had in mind. GM64 I'll do that and see what I can find. Thanks so much! Save

Thanks, Vermin King, it's been so long, I've forgotten a lot about how to use this forum. Getting old... It seems I've also forgotten how to highlight (tag) a name.

Has anyone here seen the 13th Age Core Rulebook? I happen to have one and I am starting a new campaign soon and I am very excited about it. I was wondering if anyone else has played this game and what your impressions, suggestions and thoughts are?

Helooooo everyone! I hope you have all been well during my absence. I have gotten into 13th Age and I am loving it! Most of my mini's work really well for this game, but there are few "special" items I need. So, if anyone is interested, Please look at the Icons of 13th age, as well as the giants, and most especially the Koru Behemoths, I am also looking for a half-dragon sorceress, a female human oracle*, and a female 1/4 orc Inquisitor**.
I am also having trouble finding the the following in the hoards and a little guidance would be very much appreciated:
Human fighter Human rogue Elf sorceress Elf wizards
*Ala Pathfinder Advanced Player Guide ** Also PAPG, but based on female half-orc only prettier. Amazonian build, a more refined face, dusky blue skin, smaller tusks and lots of piercings.
Well, that's it for now. I think I'm going to start a 13th Age discussion thread. Hope to see some of you there! Thanks so much for your creativity and consideration.

Hey Everyone! I'm back! Sorry to have been gone for so long, but it's been kind of a rough couple of years, health, friendships, finances, etc... But I'm back, and I hope to be able to stick around for a while.
Geez! I've missed you guys a lot!
I am starting a new campaign, this time using 13th Age. I am really loving this format. It is D&Dish, yet very different, as well. My players will be my two teenage grandkids (a fighter & a rogue), my husband (the wizard Boris), and maybe my step-daughter and her husband (characters yet to be revealed).
Looking for others who have played 13th Age, hoping to open up a discussion regarding this game.

Happy New Year, everyone! The weather is weird the world 'round and, for the large part, it's our own fault. Let's all hope, meanwhile, that emergencyoverride has a vision of the future that will come to pass. Love, Peace, Health and Warmth to one and all!

I really like what you have here. A little bit retro, a little bit futuristic, a little Steampunk and all very original. Keep up the good work Aaron.

Could we see a few pictures of the books? What technique did you use? Oh, and happy Birthday Sure, morlock. I've been taking pics all morning. Have to recharge my phone/camera. So I will have some picks and an explanation of what I've done, up a little later tonight, with any luck. I'll also try to remember where I got some of the ideas and instructions from and post links to those. There are so many, I hope I can remember them all. And, thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone.

Yeah, it really is my b-day and I have spent the whole day crafting hand bound books for the family: Candy Box Books for the grandkids, a Purple Travel Journal for one stepdaughter, a Steampunk Vampire Hunter's Recipe Smash Book for another stepdaughter, a Heavy Metal Crazy Cat Daddy mini album for her husband, a Butterfly Art Journal for yet another step daughter, and there's still more to do...whew!
It's been a good day!

Happy VERY belated Birthday, squirmydad! Sorry it took me this long to see this thread. I've been very busy with building terrain and things for my own game. I am trying to get as much done as I can before the winter because I may have a knee replacement surgery then and won't be much in the mood for such things. In any case, I hope that you had a splendid day and will have an even more splendid year!

In my opinion, one can never have enough dragons. It would be nice to see someone offer all the different types, sizes and colors of dragons that are found in the various D&D monster Manuals and Pathfinder Beastiaries.
Also, I like the idea of you offering furnishings and such. There is always a need for more dungeon dressing.
Good luck with your Kickstarter, I will be keeping an eye on your progress and cheering you on. I wish I could invest, but I have no money and even $25 is more than I can spare.

I know what it is like to be screaming in the darkness for help, yet no one seems to understand that your screaming for help. It took years of struggle and finally the love of a good man to bring me into the light, but it was a long haul.
I am shocked and yet I understand something of what he must have gone through. Then again, when you look at Robin Williams' body of work, you can see two things very clearly (and this is in hind-sight), 1: He was a man who loved to laugh and loved people passionately. 2: He had depths to him that, I fear, no one truly understood or appreciated.
Robin Williams brought a light and lightness to this world through his comedy that was sorely needed and will be deeply missed.
If only someone could have done the same for him.

After a local weatherman committed suicide, there is a program here called 'You Matter' dealing with depression and suicide prevention. Unfortunately, like Don the weatherman and Robin Williams, some of the most vulnerable folks hide their vulnerabilities in comedy and community involvement, so it is hard to tell when they have reached their limits. Remind someone today that you care. You never know when it may be too late to tell them. All too true.
