Thanks for the support, its been a hard work and many versions to get to this point.
I'm going to say I'm about 80% of the work complete for the first BETA, and it's going to be this very weekend (21-23 march), my friends and I are going to try the new textures and minor changes on several games (warhammer fantasy, warpath, infinity, flames of war).
The idea is to have the complete version in a month or so, but I want it to be as good as it can be, so it may take a bit longer, since this is free time job.
squirmydad I pretend to release the house with 3 different textures for the house and 3 for the roof, and the 3 of them will have two looks, good shape and ruin look, so you have plenty to choose. (There's much work to be done here since I'm not complete happy with the textures so far).
onemonkeybeau I have 4 more fold-flat buildings desings, buit they are in a much earlier version (lets say... alpha 0.1), they are, a watchtower, a fortress wall+gate, an extra dimmensional portal (a stargate will be more accurate) and a stonehenge.
About the second story floor, I'll be showing how to, in the next video, if you like.

Ooh! Fold Flat and you've got a sale! Do those tabs on the roof mean fold flat? If you add interiors, I'll make cutfiles for you! weeeeeeeell.... I didn't wanted to discover the surprise so soon, but yes, it's fold flat in one piece (build from different pieces, glued together logically) Here is an Alpha 0.2 I'm working on, with a "L" shape house. I'm editing a video showing not only the building process but also the folding, wich is VERY easy and VERY intuitive. As I said before, it's an early proyect and the firsts trys with warhammer games ended really good (on local store), also on a couple of RPG (pathfinder), with my friends, who didn't expected and really liked... but... you know they are friends... so they don't usally criticize me. About the interiors... Not working on them so far. There's a lot of work to be done, since I could easily add any texture of any house, but I'm researching the traditional hystoric spanish medieval houses, and that takes a lot of time. And now, some more pictures, and thanks for the encouragement.

When minis ar not enough some houses are needed. I'm working on some modular houses. (right now on Alpha version). The textures may change on the final product since I'm working on creating spanish medieval houses, from castilla times. The idea is to build with the same PDF, a couple of different houses, wich can vary on base size, and height, and a little surprise, that I'll reveal soon. On the moment a preview.

It's very easy. You may see that the left arm it's a bit away from the body (look to the archer on the first picture). You basically glue the shield to the hand and twist the arm (a little cut on the it's needed so the arm can twist) Those minis were printed in 28mm scale, I've not tried this on 15mm scale, but I may do so in the future. This is not needed, as I said before you can put the shield on the back of the arm or in front of the mini, and it looks pretty good either way, but I allways love the idea of converting 2D minis into 2.5D. Of course once you twist the arm you are going to damage the mini a bit, but it's paper so it's not a big deal.

Hello! Long time since my last post, been very busy... Anyway, here is a prototipe of some vikings I'm working on. 2.5D minis, relaxing pose, same figure with lighty changes, basically all the cloths are on different layers, in order to turn on/off them, and create many soldiers with just one figure. Shields can be glued in 2.5D style or front/back, whatever you may want. critics and sugestions are wellcome, just keep in mind it's a work in progress.

There were a couple of things I would have liked to see... "fold-lines" to make sure everything lined up correctly, thicker borders to hide when they don't line up correctly, and the tabs should have been on the wrap-around pieces for simplicity sake (which I was able to do myself when I cut it out). NOTED, and I'll upgrade it in the future. 1) The design was VERY good. 2) The colors and the textures were excellent! 3) The design was simple, yet gace wonderful results. It was an easy build, and looks great when completed (two of the things I look for in a model). 4) The details were unbelieveable! There are little "hand-carved" etchings of a dwarven face on the pieces with the landing gear. This is the kind of detail I, myself, over-look when designing things, and this REALLY added to the character of the model! Absolutely WONDERFUL model. It is versatile enough to go in any Fantasy, Steam-Punk or Modern army. Once again, GREAT work! Thanks!, I'm happy that you enjoyed. I wasn't sure the textures were good enough. I'll make another version of the textures for a goblin Gyrocopter, but right now I'm a little busy with another thing. Here's your photo.

3D Giant Eagle, my 3º version so far, and maybe the last one. As "cornixt", said in other post, It was not a very good idea to use GW copyright images, and I don't want to bring any problems in this forum. (I quited all the links of the Dark elves army, until further notice) It's veeeeery easy to build, and I include 2 eagles in one page. It's a 2 pages PDF, the second page it's the instrucctions, so you really don't need to print it. I wish I have a better picture, but you get the idea. I hope you enjoy it! monktaraz.blogspot.com.es/2012/03/aguila-gigante.html

Good news everyone! (well... I think they are good news) I have just completed my FREE PAPERCRAFT dark elves army, and I wish to share them with you. I have to say that I used to play a lot to WH, but, latelly I have not been playing it much. One of the reasons, is that my friends don't play it anymore. Other reasons are the time that requires (get the mini, build the mini, paint the mini, study the rules, contact a friend, prepare your army, prepare the board,...) That's a lot of time and effort for just a game. So I decided to create a paper army, not just for WH, but any game you may think, "hey! I can use this monster!". I have to say, that this paper army isn't an alternative to GW minis, I like the work of GW, and I have two armys full painted in my bookcase (although my girlfriend wants to throw them away). I created this army, not with the purpose of getting and army, I created this in order to try, and get to know better the game. This is just to cover the need of; not having enough minis for beating your friend, and he is going to arrive in 30 min or you are using imperial knights as cold ones or you are using a cardboard with a grid or you want to use the dark elves hydra but you are not sure to buy it or not well, this, (I hope) is a fast, and cheap way to solve those problems. I will show you some photos and at the end I'll put the link if you want to have it. a small army (I print them in black and white, but you get the idea) public.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pfuouTVBUnisUKBgUdbdyZgV3Fqh6hWDxu8IX8Qc2tFpasolqlHELKbbZ-w-5vOfaxOo3NbwU99hFmwoE-Hak0A/elfos%20oscuros2.jpgthe black dragon, not as fiercy as the plastic one, but it can hold a mini on it's back public.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pqL2qlxprR3HD7UyT8hT-4SMVlAlllXjZ0IpTi6iIFIxTU2ASuJRjdELp9UgFxmSKieGqnkgjh2iBJcjK87qPxg/dragon2k.jpgthe manticore, it can hold a mini on it's back as the black dragon public.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pw2lv5WJwb1ESCrpDrVeM53tdpuxbLD-phStOXSFoQ2zhPVLxkiL1kIcUBKDSgs1TVMoIvDRPK5zGe29zkc8I2Q/manticora.jpgthe cold one chariot, some textures missing... but enough for it's purpose public.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pvn5_1juelpwIEEWyCZ1nAlTZsSdOqZhCSpSiGw_VuQZDTTFRoEV_IuvgETfqDhjWeM-i3Ex9HGh8IxrhRyq8-w/carro%20gelidos.jpgsome corsairs warrriors public.bay.livefilestore.com/y1p2u-tQnmc28u-wlT6lLJKmBqMPzgt-a65ktUlMuawgq5mSnSNFWz9nVv1XCB3SpY3dNiPW0QzsvAu_vnCxUtlYQ/elfos%20oscuros%20corsarios.JPGans saved for the last, one of my best works so far, the hydra, wich I posted a long time ago in this forum ( cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=newartists&thread=2809&page=1) public.bay.livefilestore.com/y1pSbSlpH8XyXY2XBIoHyT1vaW0FxSRQuOXljsBTylXryPoVDPNWQJ1xQ9XpbguBQ1jWn1HqPvRhU0ePrLjwb4Xig/hidra%202.0.jpgIf you are interested in some of the minis you may download them through my blog monktaraz.blogspot.com.es/2012/03/papelhammer-elfos-oscuros.htmland I think thats all, I hope you enjoy it.

I'll tell you what I did. I created some spartans warriors, just the model, and some weapons, and items apart. (both sides are needed). You just print all parts and glue them as you wish. You can check the result in cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=2011submissions&action=display&thread=3067--------------------------------------------------- Another earlier version I tried to make was a print version of 2.5D space hulk, but it didn't end very well... Any way, I'll show you so you may get some better ideas. I create all diferents versions of space marines (terminators), but with no arms or weapons, and all the arms wielding the weapons apart. The idea was to make a mod version of the rules, by letting the space marine player to choose the weapons he wants in every map. The arms are magnetic. ----------------------------------------------------- The easier way is to create all the parts and modify the figure with whatever software you are using before printing, because of the scale in figures, adding smalls parts and print them separatelly makes the figure to look poorly detailed. Josedominguez made a great example of how to do this, so no I'm not going to add more info about it. ------------------------------------------------------

The base is 10 cm long x 5 cm, so you may use it in most games. From tail to head it's 12 cm long. From base to taller head it's 8,5cm long. the Hydra is not hard to build. It's made of body parts, so you just have to build one by one, and finally glue them together. Glad you like it

Hello everyone! This is my 30 men spartan regiment in 2.5D. (300 was a lot of them). The idea of this regiment, is to test the possibility of turning both, shields, and weapons, so the mini can be seen from many positions. Since my camera is absolutelly rubbish, I'm going to put a bit more pictures, so everyone can get the idea. This are the minis before glueing all thogether, each mini is made of 5 pieces, body, shield, cape, lance, and base. A close up of the detail in the minis. (notice that every part has two sides, so you may customize all minis). Also There are diferents heads, but, the detail is lost when printing, so a new version will be in order. A 3D, of a regiment in order to check the correct position of each mini. You may see that the lances, are in 4 diferents positions. And now the finished product!
