At my old work venue parking by the front door was always referred to as "Rock Star Parking" and was reserved for VIP's and handicap parking.

No handicapped VIPs allowed in the Jungle! Corrected PDF: bit.ly/2VreLyyThanks for the update. I'll get things moving towards the site. I was thinking about handicapped parking and in a corporate dystopia they would undoubtedly prioritize prestige over civil rights.

I was thinking about handicapped parking and in a corporate dystopia they would undoubtedly prioritize prestige over civil rights. Furthermore, there will be no real handicapped people in a cyberpunk world, since you can easily replace any limb or organ with cybernetics. Even brain damage should be no trouble, just put some CPUs into the brain, add a chip-socket, and jack in whatever skills are needed... So, no handicapped in the Jungle...

But only if they can afford it, it is a Dystopia after all. Season 2 of Altered Carbon touches on this with immortality only for the wealthy, the impoverished end up in garbage heaps and "soul banks" where their life experiences are sold, or stolen, for the amusement of the wealthy.

Season 2 of Altered Carbon touches on this with immortality only for the wealthy, the impoverished end up in garbage heaps and "soul banks" where their life experiences are sold, or stolen, for the amusement of the wealthy. In the world of Cyberpunk 2020 and 2077, you'd do jobs of let's say dubious character to be able paying the Ripperdoc. Cybernetics on the streets are last season or low quality models, while the rich and the military can afford the "good stuff". Same goes for Shadowrun, only that there some people sell their organs to buy cyberware. In Shadowrun less metal in your body means more essence, means easier healing and less insanity (due to loss of humanity)... So far, I had no time to watch Altered Carbon. I've heard it's quite good, and it is on my Watchlist on Netflix (I believe), but days only have 24 hours...
