Thanks Good to see, that my minis are useful. Still didn't understand love to square minis.. but its just me)) For grouped figures, I used to use rectangular bases, But, as each base represents a regiment, having a thin strip with just a few figures looked a too small to my eye. When I decided to use a 40 mm frontage, again, a single line of figures looked a bit sparse. So, by making a 40 mm square, I could get a few more figures on and spread them out, so that they looked bulkier. Even though each regiment has its own strength rating, I still use a rough number of figures to show relative strength - So humanoid type characters, such as men have a few more figures than the orcs, bigger we usually make orcs a big bigger and tougher than humans. It was an experience, but for this scale, it suits my eye for now.

Khaos mounted knights done. The middle command group was done a while ago. the support unit, have been trying a closer cut than i used too, so may go back in trim back or replace some of my earlier units at some point. So just need to decide on a Khoas Mage for them, and too many cultist to choose from to back them up! So suggestions welcome! I Made a start on some beastmen bowman to give them some ranged support. will post when completed, probably when the troops parade for the final assembled army. Cheers!

Did you do those yourself? Where can I get them? I need Evil Knights on Horseback as well - it seems I made a boo-boo. Today, I printed up some labels for the bases of the figures. It turns out that both the Knight of the Realm and Dark Knights are cavalry! AAAAaaaaaaaaaaagh! For the good guys, I have mounted Knights Templar, from mesper, but need bad dudes on horses as well.

Nico Pogarskiy made the chaos knights. Avaible on his Patreon same batch as the foot knights and come in different heraldry. A little hard to cut out at 15mm sue to detailing, but well worth it.

Got some greater daemons for the Khaos and a Daemonette leader with two heralds finished. the were meant to come with 3 heralds, but one was sacrificed to the dark gods. The Demons came with a Slannesh theme, so sadly cannot post images of some of the other units here. The original figures by Nico normally have bases built in. So things like cape trains and tails could be lost on translation to the standard bases i am using. But a little creativity with the basing let me keep the add ons. Cheers!

And now for something slightly different. The Minstrels often forget to mention that on that fateful day in Bristol, that is was a Fey Enchantress that sir Robin met at the roadside. He probably should not have mocked her Plumage by calling her a 'Fowl Sorceress!' If he had not, the chicken fight may have been less of a bother. After a full day of playing with rules, army points and unit list. really could not settle into moving my armies forward. This was the result. Enchantress, Patsy,Scenery and Chicken, all by Okumart. Enchantress is a combination of his wood elf enchantress and wings from Tengu guard from the 'serene fist' range. will probably use the remaining Tengu as her personal guard when (and if!) i get round to a wood elf force. Sir Robin, from Mayhem in paper. The rest of the round table i will get to at some point (?) Cheers!

The Chroniclers in the village Pucklechurch of recorded Sir Robins words that fateful morning. "Your bothered by a Goblin? Little fellow? Fit only for an Adventurer level one thru three? It will be a Doddle!' He marched off before the villagers could correct him that they had said Goblins, not the singular. Upon sighting said creatures, Sir Robin utter a oath when he saw that they had likewise taken advantage of the line of sight, and approached in great haste. Skilled the the wars of war, Sir Robin decided to seek higher ground to face them and set upon Mt Snowden as his choice, a mere 120 miles away. When there cowardly stumpy leg were no match for his tactical speed. He claimed victory from a safe distance. And there was much rejoicing. (Mainly from his minstrels ,who had yet to be paid that month) Goblins are Okumarts, and along with there Orc brothers will be joining my hordes. Cheers!

So i have a minstrel stand now. Some music critics are about to engage in a heated exchange on there choice of arrangements. Particularly the arrangement of there limbs in relation to there bodies. Any suggestions on wargames rules for Minstrels? Was thinking they attach to a unit, and any enemy units in bow range must make a leadership check or try to spend there next move trying to engage the unit in question. If the enemy successfully attack, the minstrels are the first casualty. In the minstrels units next action, they gain a bonus out of sheer relief.

So Antonhammer is planning a series of modular shields and banners for some Medieval soldiers, and offered to do some heraldry on request. Partially in jest and with a caveat that if he had nothing better to do, if he could do a set for me,and i sent a image of Brave Sir Robins Shield. I Did not expect to receive said Heraldry, but it appeared about an hour later! Seems he did not recognize it, and was curious to the origins, but cheerfully provided it. So i added his banner and shield to a Camelot foot knight as a prototype. Later will make a war band for said Knight, with appropriately large shields to hide behind and a very low morale level. So thanks Anto!

Hello! Finally assembled by Khaos force for parade. The Foot knights, cavalry, giants and Daemons are by Nico. The Beastmen Auxiliaries by Anton. Eventually i will do up the rest of the Beastmen force so they can be fielded as an army of there own. No Sir Robin this time, but i do have A Robin I needed some Rangers to allow the civilized land a warning of the coming darkness. Mayhem in paper provided. (Thanks!) i Actually hope to get a game in with some of these guys in the next week or so. Promise a report. Hope all are well. Cheers!
