Dark5: A good source of adventure themes/hooks

I have been following this Youtube channel for over five years now: Dark 5.
Most videos give five examples of a particular theme and many are about "conspiracy theories", but they do not support them, merely explain why people believe them. I think the best ones, though, surround regular unexplained or just creepy stuff, such as 5 Towns That Mysteriously Disappeared.
The videos only give about a minute to each example, but in the past, I have then done my own searching for further info. Many are a good departure from "You've just sat down at the local tavern, when a strange old man comes over to you and says, So, Ye must be here to slay thems goblins that keep stealin' ours cabbages..."
One creepy, unexplained thing (OOOooooooooooooooEEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeoooooooooooooooo!
) is that I have been subscribed to the channel since 2013, but now it only lists videos going back six years... Shame, because it was some of the really early videos about haunted places and such like, that got me hooked.
