I wanted to call it my crappy 2nd building, but the first one wasnt crappy, so I figured this is just the second one. It is really rickety. I tried to do a wrap around balcony, and while it is there, its not lined up well and the lower support doesnt work well either.
My third building, that I am working on right now, is a lot better. Everything fits better and just looks better. The difference? It was all cut with my Silhouette. The previous one had many of the floor tiles and posts hand cut.
Never again. The Silhouette is worth every penny, man.

I have never built a Terrainlinx building, but I think you may have misinterpreted some tabs. In that third photo, it looks like that should be a join tab that is edge glued to the building. Between the 2nd, 4th and 5th photos, I think that post is supposed to wrap around to be a join tab for the railing at the top of the stairs.
As you build more, these things will become more obvious. A long time ago, I learned what they call dry-fitting. Shaping things and checking fit before applying glue. All these things come from practice.

A long time ago, I learned what they call dry-fitting. Shaping things and checking fit before applying glue. All these things come from practice. Nothing is actually glued to the building, its all fit together using their tab system. The stairs arent attached to anything, and the two balcony pieces fit at the right angle, but have space between them because of the location of the tabs. Also, a single tab balcony, like that on the small side, is very unstable. I need to make a custom support. The one I printed that is supposed to work is not tall enough.
The good thing about terrainlinx buildings is they come apart very simply. The bad thing about terrainlinx buildings is they come apart very simply. I think if I redo the small balcony and make a custom support tab it will be a lot better. I just printed out a new truss for the roof also, it is not using the right one in that pic.
