Hello, I want to show here what I cutted out and glued together during the last week. It's Tomoko's Steel Warriors "Alana" fraction. A lovely bunch of fantastic drawn paper figures and great low-SciFi vehicles. As the original size of the figures of the files is on the small side, I printed everything in 110% to fit the usual 28mm scale. And here they are: Alana Regular Infantry and their (very huge) truck "Hadsh": Alana Motorized Infantry and their APC "Hen-Khalar": And finally, Alana Paratroopers and the MBT "Ensar-Shail": Paratroopers without red berets? I can't accept them! (Bad humor of a former long time paratrooper.. ) It's the first time after several years that I made paper vehicles and I'm very happy with them. Tomoko did a great job designing them! Everything fits fantastic. In the long run I'm planning to build another APC, two more tanks and a few more trucks, but we will see. At the moment I'm cutting on some oponents for my Alanian Army. I hope I can play a first test game tomorrow. Happy cutting and best regards, Andreas

I love those bases and your vehicles are very neatly made - my version of the truck looks like it's been rolled down a hill a couple of times. Paratroopers without red berets? I can't accept them! (Bad humor of a former long time paratrooper.. ) I guess he was playing it safe - In the British army, it's the Military Police who wear the red berets and get called monkeys because of it!

Shame on my head. But I didn't know what "bordeaux" red means in English, so I cut the name of the colour. It's called "burgundy" in UK, isn't it? But in reality the para berets from most nations are all very faded and "dirty sweaty red" (even the British, -did once some training with 4th Para). In German Army several branches wearing the "real" red berets (Artillery, Supply and also MP). Here they were called the "Emergency Switches" Best regards, Andreas

"Maroon" was the word! Thank you very much. I'm learning something new everyday
