The second Warband I'm working on for my forthcoming Songs of Blades and Heroes battles with the AVO, is a band of medieval mercenaries.
I'm starting with a few of Antohammer 's Generic Medieval Bowmen.
This is one page of them. There is another with the same poses in different colours, so in effect you get twice as many as it says on the cover. I lost one after It was nearly ready. I'd printed, cut, trimmed, edged and laminated; then I went and flicked the damned thing into the bin when picking up one of the others!
I'm not afraid to admit, I rummaged for it!
They will avenge their fallen comrade! (either that or I'll make up one of the spare 8 from the other sheet! )
For the men at arms for the medieval warband I thought I might use some of these fellows.
They are distrigillator 's Settlers-Men at Arms Demo pack. They're free on drive thru etc and I was startled to find that you get three pages of them, 24 figures in the demo pack! That's absurdly generous.

Thanks man, I particularly liked the fact that you included some sets of stakes and arrows with the set. I set them up with one of the archers in a double size base above but I'll probably base them seperately and see whether I can make use of them in the next battle.
I'm looking forward to the Celtic Cavalry.
Good to hear from you. Hope you're recovering well.
