Patrick Cruseau, the man largely responsible for getting me interested in making printable paper minis in the early 2000s seems to no longer have a web presence. Any idea if he still has a website and where it might be?

No, that's right. I am still making some figures and other stuff (though I mostly use those from other peoples). But I use them almost exclusively within Virtual Tabletop instead of printing them.
I have thought a few times to place the figures (and ships, vehicles, bridges, houses..) on pdf pages to post them somewhere. Just need some times, and you know how that goes...

Bhoritz I didn't realise that you were here Patrick! You are the sole reason I ever made any paper minis at all. I was hugely inspired by your work back in the day. I'm glad to see you're still going strong!

Bhoritz Out of interest, which Virtual Tabletop is that?
It is Tabletop Simulator (available on Steam). For a long time I used Maptool (with flat maps and topdown tokens), but Tabletop Simulator let me use standup paper figures and do things impossible on the real world (like the wound tracks on the figures base). The real bonus is that I can use exactly the same drawings as I used for figures (or those from other peoples) and a simple geometry for cardboard structure. I could also go full 3D, but the time needed would be prohibitive.
Ah. Okay. It's currently on sale half price on Steam too. I might nab a copy. It's actually on my wishlist but I haven't really looked at it seriously as I believe every player has to purchase a copy to play, not just the host, which is a bit of a barrier.

Yes, every player needs to have a copy when playing online. I normally use a virtual tabletop as a display in face to face games. But, of course, since COVID-19, that is something we are not able to do anymore. I am mostly working for future sessions now, when we'll be able to resume our usual games, maybe with a mix of face to face and online players, or sessions.

wyvern: cowboycentaur: The Fat Dragon Volcano set was a stretch goal from the Wilderness Adventures KS back in 2015, so that should still be available in your DriveThru RPG Library. You should be able to find it there under "Fat Dragon Games".

cowboycentaur: Anyone recall a Fat Dragon Volcano set? I have one that seems to have lost a bunch of files in the last decade or so, and moves across several computers. Now i can't find the set anywhere online.

alloydog: You can copy/paste the images into the forum and this shout box - 😁 but there isn't the Thumb Up... 🤔

alloydog: You can even copy/paste it to Notepad (or any other text editor, I guess - I use Gedit)

alloydog: From the post I linked to below, if you select it, then right-click on it, you will even get an option to search for the Thumb Up character, so I think it is part of the standard ASCII character set: https://i.p

alloydog: Actually, I can't remember where it came from, might be from Proboards emoticon own library. It is literally a character that can be copy/pasted. If you go to my post cardboard-warriors.proboards.com/post/100330/ you can copy the thumbs up there.

Vermin King: alloydog, did you do it by inserting with PostImage? I did not see it in the smileys
