Hello, after having painted 3D figures for some time, I felt like cutting paper figures again for the last few days. Here are a few random pictures from my work bench. And not to forgett, a happy and healthy Christmas to all of you! Best regards, Andreas 28mm Prussian Hussars for the Seven Years War. Figures drawn by V.A.Batalov. I changed a few things for my needs.

The work on the bases adds a nice dimension to the pieces.

May I know how these figures stand in the base? Hello, the bases are T-shaped (upside down) and the figures are glued to one side. Best regards, Andreas

I love them bro!!!!! any battle report soon??? :3 pleaaaaseeeee I'm sorry Antonio, but I don't have any time for gaming at the moment. But there's always time for a bit of snipping every day. You can never have enough ready armies! Here are my new made figures, all are 28mm sized and all were drawn by V.A.Batalov with the usual changes by myself. 1.Austro-Hungarian Irregular Light Infantry for the 7Years War. 2.Austro-Hungarian Dragoons for the 7YW. 3. completely different theme, Parthian Cataphracts! Take care of you Roman Legions! Best regards, Andreas

Mhhh, not sure. For smaller "warbands" maybe something from the "A song of.. (Muskets & Tomahawks or Drums & Shakos)" series? I also have a few Napoleonic skirmishers who might work. As a child, I went to a toy museum with my parents every two years. There they had a large display case with small hand-painted flat figures made of pewter. Each time I stood in front of this showcase for ages and admired these great figures. I think that's why I base most things individually. I just love repositioning things over and over again. So this is some kind of early childhood trauma

When I was small, the Truman Presidential library had several WWI dioramas like that. I totally understand.
Fort Osage, a Lewis & Clark fort, had a diorama like that showing what the fort would have looked like. Even though it sits on a bluff, a large flood took out a large part of the fort.

In 1811, the fort was pretty well unused, but the town of Sibley formed nearby. After the New Madrid Quake, the Mississippi River flowed upstream for several hours (some accounts say for 24 hours. probably depended where you were). The Missouri River's water had no where to go, so it flooded everywhere. Sibley sits on the south bank of the Missouri. A boat captain could distinguish no landmarks, so he headed north toward lights, which was the town of Sibley. When they realized they were still south of the river, they headed north so that the when the waters went down, they would be on the river. That's what took out Fort Osage. www.history.com/this-day-in-history/earthquake-causes-fluvial-tsunami-in-mississippiWayne City was wiped out by the Great Flood of 1844. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Flood_of_1844. Instead of disembarking at Wayne City, they would disembark slightly further east at Blue Mills or keep going to Westport

Hello, it's been a while since I made a few papersoldiers. But after painting 3d stuff for several months I'm back for a few papertoys! Here is my first try in a "new style" (without white border, a little bigger and a little thicker to become sturdier). It's the free marching band drawn by V.A.Batalov. Next one on the bench a few loose figures from our friend Antonio and some vintage figures from the mid 30's Take care of yourselves and best regards, Andreas

Hello, here is my "paper work" from the last week. Two fantastic miniatures of Dr.Jones and Dr.Jones which made Antonio for me several months ago. I love them! Thank you Antonio! The others are real vintage paper soldiers. They were originaly drawn in the mid 30's and show Italian troops of 1935 for the Abessinian War. At the moment I'm cutting a lot of red pants... Take care of yourselves and best regards, Andreas
