Organized my bridge photos. Most of the bridges are the Canal Wall type. By far. I'm not sure if that is the true percentage, or if that style appealed to me. Won't have time to really go looking for bridges again until next week. At this point probably 65% of the bridges I have photos of are the Canal Wall type, 30% would be Hybrid and only 5% sit on the rivas. And I was trying to fill those two categories, so some of the last two types are probably Canal Wall types with decoration to make them look like one or both ends sits on a riva. But for folks that don't want to build rivas above the canals, just using tiles, I will have to give some thought on how to make some that look like they sit on rivas, even though the real bridges don't. Several that I included in On Riva, aren't really Canal Wall types exactly. They actually sit on foundations right about the water line. I went back and looked at some of my Canal Wall bridges, and some of them show hints that they are sitting on similar foundations, but the canal walls are almost flush with the water edge of the foundation. Never thought I would be learning the engineering behind these bridges as much as I am it.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponti_di_Venezia

The ponte storto's, crooked bridges, are something I had looked at for down the road. And that one in particular

Cool - thank you! These bridges will come in handy in more than one game and different settings.

The next set of bridges will be useful for more gamers. They will be the ones that sit on the rivas, fondaments or banks. They can be used with tiles instead of raised ground

I think the big thing is that those always have steps. I was thinking about making a standard step piece, and having 3d sides that glue on the outside. For a standard 4-inch canal, there isn't that much room to have much variation. I might do some that are individual one-off bridges, but not sure
