The basic set is finished and up, I had more stuff planned...but done is beautiful. Maybe I'll produce an expansion pack someday. Enjoy! www.onemonk.com/squirmydad-dl.html

With the Onager Lunar Explorer (OLE!) completed I've been printing out and building everything to see if there are any major glitches. And everything seems to be okay. They are intended to be simple solids with simple textures and they can be easily cut out using scissors. The coding in the titles; the first number is a diameter (roughly) in inches of a piece (3,4,5,7) and the letter indicates length (S,M,L) = (1",2",3"). So a piece labeled (3"column-L) will have a final completed diameter of 3" and be 3" long and would use any of the ends labeled as 3" to close the column tube ends. They also come in two color variants, and plain textured, windows added, or greeblies added. The bridging pieces represent open air walkways or supports that can be of any length if you combine enough pieces. I was told I didn't take enough pics to illustrate the process last time so I'm trying to get a lot more done this time. Here is a build example of a 3L column; this little bridge piece is meant to be a connector between two angled wall sections; There are also parts to make longer bridge sections of various lengths and adapters to connect between vertical and angled wall sections; The big 7" platform doesn't have a 7" column to go with it, instead it is intended to be the top of a pedestal. One side can be the top for shuttles to land on and the other side has a guide to attach a column for support. I used a 3L column in these pics;

For joining sections you don't have to print out dozens of sheets of blank guides, just print one and trace it for the blank sections, same thing for sturdy card bottoms;

:-) Apart of jokes, I have to give it a go. That actually gives me an idea for another building.
