The theme for this month's HOARD is Magnificent Cloudscapes This can be any sort of miniature figure or model on the above theme or feel free to submit miniatures off theme. If you submit a figure, they must include both front and rear art, have a proper trimming outline, and include instructions for multi-part models. Recolors and figure mods are encouraged, and even uncolored designs are welcome. No nudity or sexuality, but bloody gory and horrifying is encouraged. If you have questions about how to design your entries, like formats, resolution, and stuff like that, see the HOARD GUIDELINES in this forum category. Entries for the Hoard will be accepted until the last day of July, 2021. Soaring high above the land, feeling the feeling that is flight, when you catch a faint glimpse of something just before disaster strikesRecon and Aerial Assault. Winged Mounts. Castles in the Air. Always loved this sort of thing. Did anyone else have Milton Bradley's Dogfight board game? Actually, I only found one person who enjoyed it as much as I did while I was in Junior High and High School. My son hated it, except to hold the planes up and blow on the props to make them spin. I need to find it again. EDIT -- It should have been with the other board games in the attic, but not there...

Ha, nope, down in Bavaria. My wife hasn't seen her parents in more than two years.
I thought this was going to be the month I finally finished the "Albatros" that I started for the Jules Vern hoard (was that 2 years ago?) but I have a home reno to finish before we go along with the usual duties and re-emerging social obligations. Better go sand that floor right now as a matter of fact.

I did not have that one, but I have Dawn Patrol (TSR), Blue Max (GDW) and Cloudships and Gunboats (GDW, based off the Space 1889 RPG). Liked Blue Max best, probably because I got to play it at a convention where they used small plastic plane models attached to large hex bases by a section of radio antenna. Heights were adjusted by lengthening or reducing antenna length. Still have all my games, board and RPG, in a couple shelves in my Gaming room.

Soar above the nasty weather and divisive politics in wonderful zeppelins from Squirmydad, me. "Magnificent Cloudscapes" from July, 2021 was strangely empty and I had these pieces that I was working on for a board game so this Hoard seemed like a good place for them to land. Enjoy! www.onemonk.com/fh-2021.html
