Guys, bad news. My graphics card died on me. I have another one on loan now, but it's not very good, meaning I can't color anything until I get a new one. That may take a while. In the meantime, i'll be making some sketches. I will eventually make this guy into a paper mini, when I can color again.

Ouch, designing without a graphics card ranks up there with a paper model designer without a printer (that's me BTW)

When my Brother printer went down, it was before Christmas 2020. I picked up one of the worst printers I have ever owned. I should have waited for a Brother to be available, but I was desperate for work projects, so I picked up a printer from a company I have never had good luck with. Spent way too much and it was working at first, but no matter what I did, it printed over-saturated. Went through ink like crazy. And I would usually have to print four copies of something to get it to print 'right'. How can it over-saturate and still have the bare lines? Then it started shredding pages instead of feeding wrong. I think I have a new printer worked out. Deliverable by the 28th, if I order now, but I am still researching. There are no guarantees when you buy a printer, but I want to have reasonable confidence I am getting the right one

There are no guarantees when you buy a printer, but I want to have reasonable confidence I am getting the right one I have a Ryzen gaming PC. I read it was the best budget option for artists. It's pretty much a miracle I could get it. I used to have a really old PC i could barely work with. I bought the new one on November 2020, and since then first the motherboard and then the graphics card have failed. Fortunately the warranty was still valid when the motherboard failed (I'm told 4 out of every 100 motherboards fail in this PC model), so i could get a new one. No such luck with the graphics card, and there's also a shortage due to the whole Covid situation. Fortunately I'm not as hard up for money as these past couple of years, as Christmas sales were very good this year (my family owns a travel agency. It's a miracle we're still in business). I hope I can get that graphics card soon. Sales are probably going to go down again due to the Omicron wave any day now.

Wow! The travel agencies I used to use are all gone now. I wish you all the best Thank you. Travel agencies in general are on the way out, and Covid has hit us hard as well.
