The theme for this month's HOARD is Stellar Navies This can be any sort of miniature figure or model on the above theme or feel free to submit miniatures off theme. If you submit a figure, they must include both front and rear art, have a proper trimming outline, and include instructions for multi-part models. Recolors and figure mods are encouraged, and even uncolored designs are welcome. No nudity or sexuality, but bloody gory and horrifying is encouraged. If you have questions about how to design your entries, like formats, resolution, and stuff like that, see the HOARD GUIDELINES in this forum category. Entries for the Hoard will be accepted until the last day of June, 2022. -- squirmydadPretty well covers all the bases, doesn't it? Have fun!

I just realized that it has been half of forever since I did any new designs for the Hoards. Might have to fix that

I had hoped to have my generic ships done by now ( AHIP and carrier certifications start this week), but I do have a couple evenings free. We'll see.

We have a holiday weekend coming up, so I don't think there is a problem even waiting until Monday night.

Holiday weekend would be great for me too, I have sketches, but not models, which will be 2.5d when finished.

If this is still active, I really like Billiam Babble's style of spacecraft. He does a set on drivethrurpg, that are basically mini-ships that occupy a 6x6 inch area on a battlemat, complete with stylized squares. They can be used as a combination of battlefield terrain and starcraft piloted by 25/28mm figures. Not to everyone's taste, I'm sure. Those who are into the Enterprise D, or Gran Moff Tarkin's battleship probably will not like them, but for those who prefer smaller craft for fights in the badlands, or just as something to dock with the abandoned asteroid station, they are great. He also gives some interesting ideas on how such vessels can be justified for use on interstellar voyages. www.drivethrurpg.com/product/155287/Compact--Worn-Starship-Deck-Plan-6x6-Tiles?term=billiam++%26+starshipAgain, I'm sure it won't be to everyone's taste, and he hasn't paid me any money, but he has certainly made a convert out of me.

HI. I hope to finish this one and some other... Slightly Dindrenzi inspired ship. Have you considered finishing these up this month and entering them as a "Multi-figure" entry in Papercuts?

Have you considered finishing these up this month and entering them as a "Multi-figure" entry in Papercuts? It could be. I need to think about a project roadmap and then leave for a two week holydays all alone

From the vast depths of space come the Dedrazi fleet! Do they bring friendship and knowledge? Or ultimate destruction. You can start building your fleet here; www.onemonk.com/fh-2022.htmlThanks Aleks!
