I open this post to ask or see if someone can help me if there is already a Terra Force Drone Controller.
Let me explain better, there are many figures in the forum that are drones, we are talking about figures that represent science fiction machines in the future. But today drones, both military and civilian, are driven by a pilot.
I wanted to set up a Terra Force squad or platoon, with the idea that between three or five soldiers, they could handle several drones and one or two operators/controllers would be needed to handle them, they would be devices that are not completely autonomous. It's an idea that with a small team of soldiers and a few drones they can do the work of a larger group of soldiers.
The form of the minimum squad would be a commander, a drone controller and a support rifleman with the ability to handle between 2 or 3 drones or another possibility, a platoon commander, two drone controllers and two support riflemen with the ability to handle 5 drones. Each Controller would handle between 2 or 3 drones, either flying or terrestrial. What I'm missing are those Terra Force with a machine simulating handling the drones and vision goggles. I've seen the one that comes with the radio on its back, but it's not completely believable with that device and the rifle in hand. Thanks.

goas77, do you still need that Drone Controller? Or did you come up with your own solution?

With the growing importance of Drone Warfare, I think I am going to do a modification of Sirrob01's gunner from the Gun Crawl Dune Buggy (Hey, if the Russians are using golf carts and utility vehicles to transport troops, why not a dune buggy). ignatious gave me the idea. I was looking at various images of In-the-Field Drone Pilots and there are certain things that stand out. Some have VR goggles. Some have what look like just plain old drone controllers. Some have tablets. They usually have an extremely thin backpack ( I expected to see an antenna sticking out of one, but I have not seen that, but I have to think it must be some sort of transmitter enhancer or something). The ones with controllers usually have a fanny pack on their bellies. The ones with tablets fall into two main groups -- a sleeve/pocket on their bellies to hold the laptop OR the one I intend to do, is the fold down tablet. The Gunner already has a chest plate that looks like it has computer hinges at the bottom, and the squarish back looks pack-like. The arms bend around to hold the controllers (already in his hands) Here's some inspiration shots. Really, all that is needed is to make a copy of the chest plate, and make it into a fold-over with the tablet/GPS/controller mechanism on the back that extends into the filler portion of the chest that would be exposed when the chest plate folds down. Black T-shirt with that death from above logo seemed appropriate. And do I want to butcher the VR goggles? I probably will attempt it, but I won't show it to anyone if it comes out as bad as I expect. I believe ignatious's drone needs a payload, too

I had a solution by modifying the radio transmitter. An option with a specific drone controller would be better even with some variants I open this post to ask or see if someone can help me if there is already a Terra Force Drone Controller. There is an awful lot to like about that. And going back to the comment from goas77, 'better even with some variants', this gives us two. The awkward head angle on the first one was giving me fits on trying to get goggles to look right, but the microphone fixes that quite well. I also like that you chose a sort-of stealthy uniform. Nicely done, sir. I need to work on control units this afternoon. Does anyone know of a figure that is holding a gaming or rc controller? EDIT -- Not sure why I thought so, but I thought sirhelnor had a 'remote operator'. BTW, it wasn't him. Does anyone remember anything similar?

Not much, yet, but some folks don't want the fold-down thing that I have yet to figure how I am holding it up. So collecting images of hand-helds. Also collecting payloads, and did a little work on the M.A.D. drone. Anyone want to jump in?

I hope to jump back in to this project today. I think I figured out a way to hold up the optional fold-down
