I have quite a few ideas I'd like to make reality and I have enough to keep me busy for quite some time and I'd thought I give everybody a heads up, which willl help me with prioritizing. • Angelic warriors - to battle my demons • More Demons WiP-Daemonette warband • Spider demon warband • Warrior hero or some kind of champion • Jackalope - which may be handy as an anthropomorphic character (removed antlers) • Skeletal warhorse • Centaur • Skelebot exosuit battle armour - Removable Skelebot figure sit under hatch of 2.5D battle suit • Invisible/cloaked Alien Hunter (as per request) • Tron figure - stylized cartoon style (90% done just need to tweek the back) • Tron lightcycle and game idea-images and rule suggestions finished. • Pirates - for a board game I'm developing (cartoon dungeon plungin style) -initial game board tiles, tokens, characters, rules finished.
If anyone has a suggestion or would like to see something added let me know.

When it comes to demons, then what about something like the old GW-style bloodletters (red, skinny, long-limbed demons with large swords).
Gargoyles is another suggestion.
Also, what about some evil cultists and demonic summoners would be fun - either fantasy-style or cthulhu-style cultists.

I would like to see the demons more like your Balrog - Winged and unwinged. Bloodletters are a tad... done to death IMO.
Angelic Warriors - Neatness. Would like to see the Wings as an optional Add-on. This would allow for the figure to fight in tight terrain without issues (the model not the actual Angel). Plus it would allow at later point for you or someone else to add different wing shapes and styles.
I would also push for all to work out an option of adding Buffs to the figures - visually ie Halo effects - demonic and Angelic; Spell effects and situational buffs. This is aimed at all designers not just Scruff. Having an add-on system would allow for a richer visual depth to be displayed on the figure.
Also on another note but the same vain - Flying Demons and Angels. Same as what you have but like a plane - viewed from above. This would allow game play to have Angelic/Demonic Strikes/dogfights. Switching to the standard figure with wings for a more standard version of Combat. The rapid flight mode could be used for games running the combat at Speed over landscape. Plus they could be resized for sortie style combats.
Angels and Demons in a modern/fantasy setting is my fav. I would love to see DarkMook, Jim and Jabbro working all on the same style/setting with you Scruff.
Check out THQ's DarkSiders

You could have loose 2.5D wings, but use removable 'PostIt-glue' to fasten the wings on the backs. That way you could design wings both tightly folded on the back and spread out for lift off. - To use on the same model/s.

Moar!! Angels and Demons!! Camoed Alien Hunter would be awesome! With the annoucement of Tron 2 I am sure the Trons will be popular. Are you doing the bikes?

..With the annoucement of Tron 2 I am sure the Trons will be popular. Are you doing the bikes? I'm trying to create a classic tron figure in a dynamic pose. I haven't decided yet on doing the costume in white, as it would have been before post-production, Blue-grey as it appeared in the movie or black/near black. (I'm not that familiar with the game but I think there is enough on the web, I could try and create a Tron 2.0 costume design for the figure.) I'm trying this for fun and I'm not quite sure how well recieved it will be from the diehard Tron fans. I hadn't planned on doing a lightcycle. and I think someone else in the forum had started work on one but I hadn't heard anything around the subject. scruff

I think Black with the neon colors would be cool
Throwing the Disc would be sweet
A 2D bike would be cool..the races and movement were so linear. I would think a game where you could lay 6 inch "light walls" and race around in an areana would be cool..rolls to accelerate, cut people off etc.
You would need a lot of light walls....

I also have a bunch of notes and reference material for doing some TRON figures, but never get around to them. I had always thought it would be cool to design a grid war type setting and design the terrain like some weird combo of tron and a pinball game. JIM

Here is a site that has a paper 3D bike a little more complex than you might have wanted but pretty cool. It would work for your game idea though. aliens.humlak.cz/aliens/aliens_papirove_modely_gb.htmclick on Bonus materials to find the Tron light cycle. It's a cool site so you may find yourself browsing for a while.

I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to update my projects list with any new additions. It's been a crazy couple months. I was previously doing some freelancing design work in the evenings, and was a full-time Dad during the day...the evening..the wee hours of the morning...and that 25th hour that only seems to exist between the moments you think you're sleeping and when you KNOW you should be sleeping but can't because that vomit smell will not go away on it's own. Anyways, with the advent of the birth of our fourth child (First daughter, Yah!), I've had to find full-time work(job searching is a job in itself) to help alleviate the reduced income due to maternity leave.....and of course the late nights with a new-born have kept me away also. I really wanted to contribute to the last two hoards and creating new stuff but I'm afraid that It may still be awhile before I can submit something again. I hope to be back soon,
and my prayers go out to Jim for a speedy and long lasting recovery.
Paul
