With the knight and mounted troop choices coming out more and more I was wondering if we could get a wedge formation tray from you Jim? Actually this would be also good for the archers too - format a tad smaller but you know what I am getting at.

I've just spotted this thread. If you can give me a better idea of what you're after (I think I've got an idea, but I could do with having it clarified), I'm sure I can knock out a template for you in a few minutes.

I'm going to try to make wedge trays for cavalry, but also for some infantry formations. I just have to figure out how to engineer the designs so it's once piece. JIM

Actually, I think I've nearly done it, if I've got the idea right. Basically I've made a base with five slots for cavalry bases, arranged in a 'V' formation. Would that be about it? Modding it for infantry will be a doddle, too.

Something like this? This isn't the full-sized doobrey, mind, just an illustrative screengrab.

Just to ask, what rules use wedge formations now. The latest version of Warhammer uses a 3x3 cavalry formation for Bret' Knights.
Typical wedge trays have one figure in front, and the other ranks right behind it in contact with each other. At least this is the type of tray I was going to make. JIM

*stage whisper* I'll be honest with you... I have no idea. That's why I was asking Baddie for clarification - this just seemed the most sensible way to do it, so I knocked it out. If there's a different, rule-specific arrangement, I can tweak it easily once I know what it is.
