TAX COLLECTOR'S OFFICEThis is 30mm-scale terrain for wargaming, roleplaying games, model railroads, class projects or just for fun. Assembly is quick and easy, requiring just 4 sheets of cardstock, a hobby knife and glue. (There is also 1 optional page of reinforcing struts that can be used to give the structure more stability.) Instructions are provided, including printing tips and advice for printing at various popular gaming and model railroad scales. This file is 200dpi, which will look great when printed at full size without requiring large file sizes. For best results, use Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 to view these files. CONTENTS: The PDFs for this fold-up model feature one building complete with a roof, ground tile, dormer window, hanging sign, balcony with space for up to 3 miniatures, external stairway, stair spacers to make it easier for minis to stand on the steps, 8 optional reinforcing struts for the building interior and several wooden crates. DIMENSIONS: Model footprint is approximately 3.8" x 4.5". Ground tile is approximately 4" x 5". Height is approximately 10.25", not including the chimney. IMPORTANT NOTE: This product features only single-layered PDFs, and does not contain multiple layers, unlike some of my other models. This model has one look only, as seen here. Got mine along with the Ruins set - very nice! Will go very well with setups with raised roads like the Himmelveil and Dragonshire Deluxe sets as a building that 'starts' at the below road level. Only thing I miss is the option to add a door to the 'basement' level, that would have been nice. Still a great looking building though!

For a door on the bottom floor, simply print a page with the upper door on a plain piece of paper, cut it out, and use a glue stick to put it on the ground floor where ever you want to place it.
Hope that helps.

It's easy to customize doors, Bob, just print out a sheet with a door on it, cut out the door, and slap it on the side of the model. I do it all the time with Fat Dragon conversions. Have fun! Steve Oh... now I see that Dryw beat me to the punch!

Oh, I know it's easy enough to do, I've done it myself in the past - it just means printing another sheet to get the extra door. If we had layers with this set like the others and the door was on one of them, that wouldn't be necessary.
Not that I'm demanding a full set of layers or anything, Dave, but perhaps some layers for things like windows and doors could be an option for the sets with a fixed wall setup?

Some of my upcoming models will be richly layered, some will be single-layered, and some will include a handful of optional layers. I just happen to be in a phase where I'm creating a selection of single-layered models because I've had requests for them.

Great stuff Dave. I just picked up this, the ruins and a whole slew of your other buildings Friday. I've got a couple of the structures built. I'm looking forward to getting about a dozen built, laid out, photographed them using them for lots of games. Keep up the excellent and innovative concepts.

Glad you liked the build. Hope to have some more pics (plus Swan House and Tax Officer) ready fo next week-end. I'm just starting to work on the next 6x3 tiles setup from Streets of Himmelveil, which should be easier to build, as there're no tiles with anchor points.
