I noticed alot of the figures people have here are based on black foamcore.
Is there texture sheets your printing out, measuring what you need and cutting it out, or are there sheets of marked bases to cut out already?
I can figure out a way to do it for myself, but if someones already gone throught the trouble of making templates for it I'd like to use them.
Thanks, Adam

Are you talking about minis based like this? I am a big fan of World Works Games and I use their ground tiles (1" gridded version) and glue it to foam board. I then cut out the bases (as most are 1"), put a slit down the middle, and I'm done. Something like this The cut down the middle: Inserting the mini: notice that this base is 2"x2" as you can see the faint grid linesI use their ground tiles for my bases because it helps the mini blend in. Not perfect, but decent.

That's exactly what I was talking about. ;D I was just wondering what people were using for texture sheets. I was hoping there were some with 20mm and 25mm bases measured out. Anyone know how to generate a measured grid, and tile an image in it, using GIMP ?

if you search for graph paper, you can find various sites that will let you print directly off of the internet. Some will even let you choose your grid size. You could print off some sheets and then print whatever texture you wanted onto those gridded sheets I suppose. You might give this site a try: incompetech.com/graphpaper/

I've actually used that site before.
Hadn't thought about just printing a graph onto an already textured sheet though. That just may work !!
Thanks again.
