OBSERVATION TOWER (V2)[/b]

This is 30mm-scale terrain for wargaming, roleplaying games, class projects or just for fun. Assembly is quick and easy, requiring just 3 sheets of cardstock, a sharp hobby knife and glue. This is a revamped version of the Observation Tower, with new textures and additional exterior features not found on the original.

Full instructions are provided, including printing tips and advice for printing at various popular gaming and model railroad scales. These files are 200dpi, which will look great when printed at full size without requiring large file sizes. You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader 7.0 or later in order to use them, and the multiple layers may take additional time to render, so be patient while your images load onto the screen.

MULTI-LAYERED FILES: The PDFs included in this model set are multi-layered and contain a variety of surface textures and external features that you can customize with the click of your mouse. Each model can be configured in countless ways before printing, so what you're really getting are many models in one! With this one model you'll be well on your way to filling up your battlefield table with great-looking terrain.

SINGLE-LAYERED FILES: For your convenience, this kit also includes full sets of single-layered PDFs offering two different color schemes.

DIMENSIONS: This model stands 7.3" tall and includes a ground tile of 4" x 4.75".

CONTENTS: In addition to the main walls, roof and ground tile, there are 7 exterior gunports, 1 exterior equipment module, 3 support columns and 5 ammo crates in various sizes.

Hey Dave, I recently purchased your observation tower model and turned it into a dice roller.

No. I actually only took the one, but if your interested I'll be happy to take a few more. The exterior is almost unchanged, I just mostly messed with the guts.

How did you set up the interiors?

Long story short, I removed the roof and added 3 ramps, as well as cut a door in the front. The walls and ramps are all reinforced with black foamcore board, but it would be easy enough to mod printable interiors. With two layers of card for each wall, and ramp, I imagine it would be durable enough.

I originally was going to make the entire model out of carstock, but I didn't know how crazy you would be about me kitbashing the hell out of your art.

I used the roof to cover the bottom ramp, since it's the most visable, and the other two ramps, on the interior, are black foam core.

On the bottom front I cut the doors and folded them over the foam core.
