This is my "plan" if I ever find the time. Also, I need to improve my texturing skills. (Also) Chris

Been looking through all of these requests and the responses. Good Grief! You guys are good! And your generosity is inspiring.
Yet, I still hesitate to put my requests up, because I feel as though I would be imposing on your generosity. You see, I am perpetually broke and on a small fixed income. But I still LOVE gaming!
So, I hunt the internet for anything free that would work with my game. When I find what I'm looking for I'll download it onto a thumb drive and take it to my local library and print it out on their equipment. This means B&W only, but I have paint and color pencils and such at home. This also means that I am printing on standard printer paper, but my players keep me well supplied with cereal boxes and such. Once the pieces of the desired build are glued to the cardboard and dry, I cut and score where needed and then proceed with the build. I find that this gives me a lot of freedom in color choice and in the final look of the project.
Now, let me stress here, that everything I download is for personal use only! I don't share any files with anyone. For instance: A dear friend and fellow gamer recently asked me about some of my builds and rather than share the files I have, I simply told him about the websites I frequent.
All this being said, there is stuff I would dearly love to have but cannot find anywhere! So, here is my wishlist (something tells me that I am not the only who would be interested in some of these, though I could wrong):
3-D items: A forge or smithy (human, elf or half orc?) Stables Open-air market place with stalls and adaptable banners (Cloth merchant, Jewelry, Fruit, Boots, Hats, etc) Temples (again with adaptable signage - Pelor, Hieronymus, and so on - or blank, to be filled in by the DM) Signage for taverns Druid's Grove? (an apple orchard, would seem fitting) Magic shop ( I picture this as a quirky little place, with a gnome sorcerer who has gone 'round the twist' as propiator) Stockade fencing made of logs? ( this would be tall enough to surround a town in hostile territory) "L", "T" & "X" intersections for 2" tall walls.
2.5D items: Heroes on the line of 3.5 and Pathfinder - in other words, not cartoony, but more realistically drawn, like the phenomenal work done by kevinthebrave on his skeletons. Beautiful! Looking specifically for: Male Dwarf Fighter with battle axe and tankard Male Half-elf/half-silver dragon Ranger/Fighter Female Elven Rogue with longbow Male human Wizard with psuedodragon familiar Female human Monk Male human Cleric with Crossbow Female Elven Druid with Dire Weasel companion Male Elven Ranger with Composite long bow Male Half-orc Barbarian with war hammer Female Halfling rogue/battle dancer Male and female Gnome rogues Female Gnome sorcerer/oracle - blind Various towns people of various races
I know some of the above is weird and very specific, but our game has taken us to some interesting places and will continue to do so.
In closing, I say: Anything even remotely fitting the descriptions above that I can modify to fit my needs would be hugely helpful and very much appreciated. And I would be willing, nay honored to test build and offer comments (constructive critiques and heartfelt accolades) on anything you come up with in the fantasy genre.
Many thanks to all who consider taking any of this work on.
Humbly yours,
Dungeon Mistress

Never worry about making requests, they often serve as inspiration for artists and someone here may have a link to exactly what you are looking for.

OMG such a looong wishlist... But... I think that I can point you somewhat (at least in one case) - whole bunch of female elven archers - forest and high-elves with long and/or composite bows): ...and there is more! So please browse (for example) PERMES Projects or Releases and of course other Publishers boards Perhaps you can find there some interesting stuff (including Female Human Monk, Elven Druid with Dire Companion and even... Dwarves with Tankards:)

I can easily point you to many paid models for what you are looking for, but the free ones will naturally be more difficult. Probably your best bet would be to start with papermau.blogspot.com because of the architectural models it has. I must say, I've spent most of the last eight months hunting all over for sets free & cheap, and decent models are a lot harder to come by without any cost. Unfortunately I lost my hard drive a couple of weeks back, got a new one this week, and haven't really begun digging through my backups yet. I'll run through some of the best bets for models when you've got some gaming money to spare, including many I've picked up myself: 3-D items:A forge or smithy (human, elf or half orc?)Mystic Mountain Productions' Blacksmith $5.50, a little deluxe, with interior IIRC StablesDave Graffam's Livestock Shelter $2.95, have it, love it A forge or smithy AND StablesFat Dragon's Dragonshire Blacksmith & Stables set $3.99, have it, like it a lot Dark Skull Studios' Blacksmith, Tannery, Stables and Carpentry Shop $4.99, simpler textures and geometry, but might be just the thing for your printing situation Open-air market place with stalls and adaptable banners (Cloth merchant, Jewelry, Fruit, Boots, Hats, etc)Fat Dragon's Dragonshire Market Square (or just a 2-D tile version E-Z TILES Fantasy VillagePotentially all of the aboveMicrotactix's Vyllage-on-the-Cheep COLOR Buildings Set #2 $6.00 "Set #2 features the Vyllage Blacksmith, with his home and a complete Blacksmith's Forge. You also get a large Barn, the Cookhouse, a set of Merchant's Stalls, and the unique two-story Gentlemen's Club!" - I've not bought any of there stuff yet, finding their prices generally too high and while their work was cutting edge 10 years ago, it's not usually up to current standards. But this set is just $6, serves many of your needs (the smithy looks like it could be modded to stables fairly easily) Magic shopDave Graffam's Wizard's Shop of Rake's Corner $1.95, have it, love it. Mystic Mountain Productions' Magic Emporium $5.50, a little more deluxe Stockade fencing made of logs?Dave Graffam's Wooden Fences $1.95, this might work with the tall wooden pointed fencing Dave Graffam's Medieval Walls Set $4.95, better for sturdier walls (wood layer available), but obviously pricier Unfortunately, you just missed Dave Graffam's Everything for $1 sale, though he has left some bundles up with every model inside costing $1 still. As I said, I'll keep looking. Another promising free collection is the one from D&D's own site. Do you have that yet?

Okay, here are a few more freebies: For trees, bushes, and other greenery check out my pictures, and further down my links, in my award-winning Papercuts 2013 diorama entry - all made of free stuff, btw! (Well, except the book illustration used as background. That was a bookstore bargain.) Many of the trees come from Oversoul Games' Dungeon Plungin' game, though it's deliberately cartoony. Also, it's donation-ware, so give what & when you can Pavaro's Fabryka Figurek includes some 54mm scenery, and you could use them full-size, or print 2 to a page to scale them down to 28mm. For minis and a few models from our wonderful membership: the forums hoards/hordes at the upper left, with free One Monk terrain, and Dryw the Harper's amazing Imperfect People (that gallery's still a work in progress, otherwise you can dig through his threads manually).Kev's Lounge free Dungeon Room Tiles (Small, Bigger, Huge, & Corridor), plus doors, outdoor tiles, and fun minis and gaming accessories Official Dungeons & Dragons buildingsOfficial Chainmail terrain tiles & accessories
Raven's Blight has some beautiful stuff, though I've never made any of it. Many 3-D models for free at RPGNow Done by selecting by Product Type= Maps/Buildings/Miniatures, then 3-D Buildings/Terrain, then by price. There might be a few that slip through the cracks, though. My ALL-TIME favourite model is a freebie on RPGNow, one I love even more than the Fat Dragon that led me to this hobby in the first place, or any other of the publishers' since that have earned my loyalty and appreciation... What is it that inspires such devotion? The humble Hovel by Fantasy Cutouts. There is also a guard tower (more a wizard's tower, I think) and dragons on Christmas Cards, but those I am saving up for, as a special treat. It goes well with Billiam Babble's Inked Adventures' stuff, available at RPGNow, and a bit over at his Deviant Art page, or his myriad other internet haunts. I love the hand-drawn quality, and even if it doesn't suit your needs, it's worth checking out. And maybe you can make this work, if you don't find dungeon terrain to suit. Hmmm... I seem to be overrun your original question. I know there are pub signs in one or two of the Dragonshire sets, but that's not much good for you at the moment. The best thing would be to find those pub sign matchbooks, I loved those, tried to save a few, have no clue where they are now, and I think they'd be the perfect scale... I've an idea for an apple tree, if the Overoul Games ones don't work, but it might be a couple of weeks before my computer's that up to speed... Hope this helps!

Thanks Vermin King! There's a ton of stuff here that I didn't have, and I found the stockade model. Which reminds me, I forgot to mention the Models and Miniatures in Paper Archive for many minis and models, the forerunner of today's Cardboard Warriors and the Forum Hoard/Horde.

And here's the quick link to all of Mauther's temple models - all free, but finding out the scale and making any necessary adjustments could be a pain.

I wish Toto didn't close down his blog, ilfavolosomondodicartaditoto.blogspot.com/. Many of the items that you mention were available there, although they were vintage papercrafts, mostly Imagerie d' Epinal. Wayback is very iffy on the site. There was a really nice little butcher's cart, etc.

It works ... kinda. Many of the pieces are jpg's that can't be retrieved. There are many pages that you can't access. If you do an asterisk Wayback search, there are thousands of entries, and only some will actually come up, and the way they were put onto his blog makes it difficult to find what you are looking for. For instance, with the robots.txt, you can find no jpg files, only html files. Also most of the ways to do searches are killed due to the robots.txt. Tom Greensfelder attempted to take over the blog when Toto announced it was going down, but they were never able to get things worked out.
A real shame

A real shame And is it just me, or are people finding that even when Wayback indicates a page is archived, clicking on the link reveals it's not in the Machine? I've been running into that fairly frequently recently, starting about the same time I noticed them asking for money. I speculate that they might have blown a server... but that could just be me projecting

Part of it is also when they are archiving pages, a page might be archived that is a failed attempt at a link. Sort of like Mythos.Joomla. We try to access the site and links on the site after the files are gone. Wayback logs that they have a click on that link, however it does not tell you that it is a failed attempt. I look at the dates a lot when I use it and always try to go to the oldest hit first.

And only since October or so, I think, or at least when that started to become noticeable...

OK, I'll put my request in here. I have anew player starting on April 6th. His character will be a half-orc barbarian/swordsage. I am looking for a paper mini to make for him. So far, all I have found is a half-orc female sorceress.
I picture this guy as a half-orc wearing a fur (something curly, maybe?) cloak and wielding a pair of matching swords.
Does anyone know of something I haven't seen that would work? Or even something I could modify a little?
Any help would be appreciated.
Humbly,
DM

<...> I picture this guy as a half-orc wearing a fur (something curly, maybe?) cloak and wielding a pair of matching swords. Oh... too late... Check out your other / standalone thread - I did some mock-up for you, but unfortunately started work before you posted this more detailed post. Still it should be possible to add some curly-fur on orc's back.

Humbly, DM I posted in your other thread about the free Orc barbarian from Offbeat Orc, although he wields a large axe which could handily be turned into a staff of some sort, & not swords.

I would love to see someone do:
1) Pelter Dwarf warband from ASoBH Hammer and forge (think druidic wild dwarves) and B) Zombie/Undead Dwarf warband
Whoever does these first will be my forever hero!

Thanks These any help (DTRPG links)? * Pigmi Games, Kl'cari Cavalry. Or if you wanted to head down the "undead legions" route, what about the One Monk Skeleton Centaur Cavalry Regiment? * Skeleton Cavalry Regiment. There's also a solo (living) centaur in the One Monk Free Fantasy Sampler set: * Free Fantasy Sampler pack. There must be others - and maybe more to come, judging by this Guardians of the Wild WIP art page on the One Monk site.

How good are you with Gimp, Photoshop, etc.? Re-sizing and cleaning up are always options. And putting different doors and windows on buildings of more sci-fi design. papermau.blogspot.com/search/label/EgyptianDarn, Ghost of Man site is down, and Robots.txt keeps it from pulling up with wayback machine Napoleon in Egypt has some trees, mmiparchive.papermakeit.com/Miniatures%20in%20Paper.htmlMaybe senility is setting in, because I can't find 'Evypt' by Eastern Vampire, now. There are also some Imagerie d'Epinal pieces that could help flesh things out

Helooooo everyone! I hope you have all been well during my absence. I have gotten into 13th Age and I am loving it! Most of my mini's work really well for this game, but there are few "special" items I need. So, if anyone is interested, Please look at the Icons of 13th age, as well as the giants, and most especially the Koru Behemoths, I am also looking for a half-dragon sorceress, a female human oracle*, and a female 1/4 orc Inquisitor**.
I am also having trouble finding the the following in the hoards and a little guidance would be very much appreciated:
Human fighter Human rogue Elf sorceress Elf wizards
*Ala Pathfinder Advanced Player Guide ** Also PAPG, but based on female half-orc only prettier. Amazonian build, a more refined face, dusky blue skin, smaller tusks and lots of piercings.
Well, that's it for now. I think I'm going to start a 13th Age discussion thread. Hope to see some of you there! Thanks so much for your creativity and consideration.

Reivaj's Elf Adventurers will take care of the last two. There have been several Rogues and Fighters. Just check out the promo photos on the Hoards, Papercuts, etc. in the One Monk Downloads, www.onemonk.com/downloads.html, and do a search of the forums. I generally have better luck with using the 'All Words' search, rather than 'Exact Phrase'
