In this community we are a good number of people. I sometime wonder what other members do when not fiddling with paper miniatures and models. So, 'cause i'm a facebook user, i want to share my facebook page: www.facebook.com/ParduzNot that i do something extremly exciting... i'm just the "average Mario" as most of other italians. If anyone else likes to share other things of his life out of paper model, pls contact me on FB, and/or add your FB page here. I completly understand that someone wants to mantain the FB contact list close as possible to the real life friends list, so do it only if you like to share your profile

I'm on facebook, but I use it maybe once a month and only to keep in touch with local friends. As to other stuff I do, I update my livejournal fairly often and have a website. Just google me if interested. It's mostly game design.

I was on Facebook, but kept getting friend requests from people I didn't know at all, especially ones to have me join their Mob or some such Facebook game. I don't know ,I just didn't care for it that much so am no longer a member. Plus it would just give me one more place to visit, keep up with, and all that other stuff, I'm pretty maxed out as is. JIM

Yeah, FB have a lot of "noise". I started with FB just to see what it was, and i ended up using it everyday just to say something to RL friends, then to my "Bikers club" (a scooter-related Newsgroup, in reality), then to my old comrades which i did'nt meet from 20 years. I learned that i like to "peek" in ppl real life: it gives you a surrogate of RL knowledge, and you'll end (most of the time) appreciating more some persons, or at least knowing them a tiny bit better. About the "Noise", Firefox + Greasemonkey + FacebookFixer is a terrific combo

We have a Sanity Studios FB page which is, as of late, updated with mostly paper mini stuff. Me personally though, I really don't do too much with FB.

I use mine to keep in touch with old classmates and to play Farmville. Actually, my daughter plays Farmville, my farm is just an extension of hers really. Too much work otherwise.

I Facebook, but mostly on my Blackberry for family and my former academic colleagues. www.facebook.com/GlennWilliams37The news feed is completely eaten by Farmville (World of Warcraft for seniors) "announcements." Then there are the young women who want to be my friend, but have no public profile. I almost never talk about my modeling, so it's just the kind of chatter you'd get over a glass of wine.

It's easy to fing me... Simply go to SEARCH, and type in the name of a Company, Designer or Model name of something I have built... There I'll be.
If you want to add me to your friend list, simply send me a request and mention your handle.
If not, then I have all of my papercraft models viewable by everyone.

Hi, here's a secret I don't tell everyone but I don't like soap opera tv shows, so when my wife and daughter watch them I am allowed to check emails and the news on this site etc. To block out the noise I put on earphones and listen to music at the same time. Has any one got any music to recommend? As this is an international audience there must be some good stuff out there that I haven't found yet.

Has any one got any music to recommend? As this is an international audience there must be some good stuff out there that I haven't found yet. Heh I listen almost every southern rock made by '70 to today (so Lynyrd Skynyrd, '38 Special, and so on), a lot of '80/'90 "hair rock" and pop/dance, and Jean Michel Jarre. So, i guess i have nothing new to suggest (but i'd like to know good southern rock bands). The only italian music is worthy to listen is not so much known outside of Italy. But if you're courious you may want to search the Tube for Vasco Rossi (his best period is '90 to 2006, but he's on the wave from mid '70) and Luciano Ligabue (early albums are better than the last ones). Both are true stage animals, so live perfomance are also interesting.

Southern Rock- Allman Brothers Band, Derek Trucks, johnny-oey Betts, The Outlaws, Marshall Tucker Band, Jim Dandy, The Drive by Truckers, Lone Justice, ZZ Top pre-Eliminator, Raging Slab (kinda goofy), Nashville P**sy (Dirty and goofy).... Cory Morrow, some Pat Green, but he's more country.... Ray Wylie Hubbard. Shooter Jennings
Hair Metal- Rhinobucket- Bonn Scott era AC/DC Titanium Black- Queensryche sounding hair metal The 69 Eyes- ehh... gothic rock. Kix, and Saigon Kick, Junkyard, Jetboy, if you can find it
Mostly I listen to Texas country and the like, so you probably wouldn't be in to my music....

I'll go hunting for the others on the Tube, and then a very much more hard hunting for the CDs (but i guess it is easier trying a web store). Mostly I listen to Texas country and the like, so you probably wouldn't be in to my music.... Well, at little doses i like country music (admitted that ppl like Jason Alderan or Trace Adkins are still doing Country). Shoutcast radios area good sources of new artist to listen, for me that i can't know anything else. I can't handle the "rural branch" of that genre (guess it is called Bluegrass?).

Well, if you like Jason Aldean, try Gilbert Brantley.

Thanks for the feedback, since I grew up in the 50's I will listen to most styles of music, some I enjoy more than others. At the moment I am discovering French pop Alizee, Lara Fabian, Jenifer Bartoli, Natasha St-Pier, Jena Lee, Lorie all girls I know but you have to start somewhere so why not with the pretty ones? I just listened to some of the suggestions and I will certainly return to Vasco Rossi he's a bono look-a-like but is probably much better. The E video on you tube has a certain appeal.

Glad you liked it. I'm uncertain about the comparison with Bono. I don't know so much his life but Vasco life is a true "rock" story (down to amphetamine and up to rehab, some new son that pops out from a fan of the '80, and so on). If you can, find a way to read the lyrics in english (really i don't know if there's properly done translation). One of his best talent is to use 5 words to tell a whole story. I'm not a fan (i mean, one of that person that follow an artist everywhere and everytime) but Vasco is one of the smartest lyrics writers here... even if i feel he's starting to be a bit boiled, nowadays.

Hey, everyone, I USED to be on Facebook, but after a series of bizarre events, and people I didn't know sending me Friend Requests, I deleted it. WELL... I have a new one. I adapted my old role-playing game name, and started a new account. If you want to look me up, I am under the name "Blake Stargazer." One thing, if you send me a Friend Request, please state your handle so I know who you are. Thanks! David Blake... Kiladecus...
