Your getting better with each new figure, keep up the practice. About the only thing I'd suggest is to use more dramatic coloring. When shrunk to final size, your colors may turn out flat looking, but that's just my personal taste, you do what pleases you first, then listen to us in the peanut gallery when your lost for ideas. Painted it the same way I do figures.... Rackham style. You're right through, at 30mm all you can pick out is red Lots of practice for now, then I'll start doing backs and maybe putting them out, but for now they are confined to our Mordheim campaign. I figured that this way I had to get about thirty done so we can start playing..... lots of enforced practice. If it wasn't for your site and this forum, I'd never have discovered this. I honestly wish all of this had been around twenty years ago, I can paint miniatures pretty well, which is useful for painting miniatures and not much else, if I'd put that effort into improving my drawing skills, then who knows?
