Based on player feedback and requests, we have updated Mech Attack to improve and streamline game play even further. You can get the update by simply re-downloading the product with your purchase link.
Most of the updates are simple polish and balance tweaks. The most significant change is the Heat mechanic. The new mechanic is more forgiving for minor overheating, more harsh for major overheating, and faster for game play as you only need to roll once on the Critical Heat table.

Here is a summary of the changes:
1. Clarified that movement may take a straight or curved path.
2. Simplified HEAT mechanic, now only requires one roll.
3. Explained how to determine a unit's exact location.
4. Range is now measured from center to edge, not center to center.
5. Expanded terrain Levels and LOS.
6. Mechs no longer receive Cover from Rubble or Low Walls, only Hills and Buildings.
7. Troops no longer restricted to equipment costing 1Bp.
8. Adjusted Troop Transport and Armored Scout stats.
9. Adjusted stats for Light, Heavy, and Jump Infantry.
10. AMDS is now automatic and does not generate Heat.
11. IWTS now provides a +2 modifier to hit.
12. Adjusted reference tables:
--Rear Arc bonus is now +2
--Changed Ran to Rushed
--Added Fuel Cell Explosion damage with and without Crits
--Added Shutdown to Critical Heat table
--Increased damage values on Troop Damage table
13. Lowered cost of Vehicle Engine Upgrade in Optional rules.
14. Lowered cost of Heavy Machine Gun w/Armor Piercing Ammo.
15. Raised cost of Light Machine Gun w/Armor Piercing Ammo.
