I'd like to get it for use with the Sea Campaign expansion for Descent.

Times suspiciously close to the release of FDG's COG, WWG is ahving a sale on their Sailing Ship and Dock Combo pack. Normally $28.94 it's on sale right now for $8.

Suspicious or not, it's a good deal

Since it's a different type of ship and a different period, I wouldn't complain too much. After all, we have multiple types of tanks. The art work on the FDG cog is simply beautiful. Since I tried my hand at designing a cog recently (and did not succeed to my expectations), my hat's off to FDG.

I'm not complaining, I bought both.
I would be quite happy that if every time FDG released a product similar to WWG one they would have a sale.

Where are you seeing this sale? All I see on the WWG site are the two separate items...

There was a link in my post Sneaky linking coding... I see that now mate, but inline links are not made obvious at all in this code... Thank you!

Just bought it.... hope to start building it this weekend! When you're done, it would be great if you could post some pics and comments in the Gallery over at the FDG forum.

I will do that.... as long as they look good! I don't want to embarrass myself by posting something that looks like it was cut out by a beaver

I just picked this up today and I must say I'm very pleased.
It might take me a little while to get a build in (my plate is pretty full right now) but I am certainly looking forward to it.

I'm working on mine, bit by bit and piece by piece. I'm taking my time with it, allowing the glue to set up really well, and running beads of Elmer's along the seams, because it's a big model, and I want the curves to work right. I'm also reinforcing it in certain places where I think strains will be put on it that we usually don't find in models with boxy, rectilinear construction.
One of the things that triggered the fascination that miniatures have for me was viewing the Fleischer animated version of Gulliver's Travels at an early age. It strikes me that if I were Gulliver, then the Incognito would be just about the perfect size to represent a 1-to-1 scale Blefuscu warship. I could build a whole bunch of them, waterproof their hulls, and then drag them all across a pond by their hawsers!
Have fun! Steve

I made a couple mistakes on the hull, and so I had to reinforce several sections of the interior. I reprinted the bulkheads and rudder, and then cut the reinforcing pieces from those. They fit perfectly and look good too. I should post a picture if I get time.

I already got the FDG Cog, I just picked up the maiden and the docks, thanks for the hint.
I'd love to kitbash the Cog into a derelict ruin of a wreck, but since I didn't even finish the first build and I got way too little time for all the strange ideas bouncing back and forth in my head...
