I created the new category for Sanity Studios which will now be hosting the forum. Nik Loveland has purchased all the rights and assets to the Onemonk miniatures brand juck, and the hosting of the forum is part of the responsibility I am including.
Part of this responsibility is to maintain the function of the forum as I have built it. A community of like minded folks who get a lot of joy and pleasure from designing and playing with paper models and miniatures.
I have every confidence in Nik and his partner that they will be great stewards of the forum. As part of this arrangement, I'll still be in pretty much the same position I am right now, the main admin, and annoying changer of the forum graphics and such. I will still be doing all the great and stupid stuff I always have, maybe with even more cooler and stupider things to come.
I'm sure the guys and Sanity Studios will be making themselves at home here over the coming months, and they too will be as stupid and the rest of use nut jobs here.
Your loving pain in the ass leader type, JIM

Thanks for the intro Jim (and thanks for creating the board). We are really excited to see this community expand. Jim and I talked over some things and I think it will work out very nicely. The forum looks like it is already under my control (Mmwahahaha... ) and things shouldn't break for at least a while (unless they let the hamsters out of the wheel and the server looses power). In the next week or two we will be transferring the website from one godaddy account to another. You would hope that could go smoothly but gremlins seem to love technology. If anything doesn't seem to work, just let us know in the Forum and Website Help section like normal. Actually I think a lot of things around here will be 'like normal'. Now we just need to come up with a good title for ourselves .

I thought I would post just a bit from a chat I had with Aaron this morning. I guess you could say it's a look behind the curtain (me is me if you couldn't tell):
Aaron: Lack of sleep is catching up with me. I haven't been able to sleep much since we made this deal. I keep waking up hours early and the instant I do my mind floods with everything that's going on and everything I need to do. Sent at 7:42 AM on Saturday Aaron: I know you're there somewhere. Sent at 7:49 AM on Saturday Aaron: Silent treatment huh? Ok, I'll crawl back into my hole and do artwork. maybe when I come back out of my hole I will have accomplished something. me: oh hey I didn't see you there I heard beeping but I didn't know from where You know, that is EXACTLY how I am too Onemonk is fulfilling my dream of the 'no-sleep-required' super power (except I crash around 2pm) Aaron: I would love to have that super power. me: I'm rambling quite a bit about electronic goods and PDFs and product value in this post I'm writing I may have to get my editor (Jen) to look it over before I post Aaron: good idea me: Anyways, keep on keeping on! Aaron: I will, and you too. ok well I'm out of here. I'm going to go home and attempt to get some sleep. me: k, laterzzzzz....

Ha! don't worry the time will come when you will ask yourself why we ever got involved with that wack job Onemonk!
I think your all fitting into my plan wonderfully. Soon all of the players will be in place and I can activate super paper model work domination, and you'll all be my pawns, alright? okay!
I'm sure in time the integration with the Sanity Studios forum topics and such will work out just fine. Now that we all understand that Nik and Aaron are just as obsessed with this crap as the rest of us. I'll be working closely with them, and as I mentioned I'll actually be designing some figures for them ,as well as them publishing any new full sets I design and color. I am not stopping what I'm doing by a long shot. I am just trying to find people who have a passion for the same things and letting them do most of the drudgery work, and I don't mind handing over most of the value of my work in exchange for that. Now I can really just sit at home and just worry about what figures do draw next. JIM

Hey Labrat, That post back on the 16th was 'sposed to be a joke with possible friendly ribbing overtones. ;D I'm looking forward to the 2.5d dragon you mentioned. Give me 2.5 or give me death! Ahem, joking again

You want 2.5? You can't handle the 2.5! Ok so maybe you can, but rest assured that we will be doing 2.5 wherever it is appropriate.
Disclaimers:
Please do not attempt to operate heavy machinery while making 2.5d models.
If you suffer an ******** lasting 4 or more hours, please stop building paper miniatures immediately and consult a physician.
Yikes! Someone tell me if that last one was over the top.
