Lol, Aaron did sketch those a while back and is/was going to use them for paper minis. On the orc front, we are going to try a joint effort with Jim. Aaron is currently working on some human footmen (last I heard anyway). You're a good scrounger though Sirrob! I'm still working on the Monster Pack layout (which got interrupted by a certain website transfer). But since people have been asking, here's another preview:

Ok, we haven't given up on the monster packs. I've just had issues with my new CIS that I bought for my printer (the cyan ink seems to have problems when printing at low amounts making everything redish). It's also kinda a pain to make cut files. But I have trudged on. Actually if you go to the site you might notice something new but shhhh... we will announce it when we have the promo pics in place. Here's a picture as proof that we are working heavily on it: -Nik

Great! More things to eat Imperfect People. I see many creatures I really need, some I need so much that despite my not doing monsters I was getting tempted to give it a try. Much thanks for saving me the effort. Dryw the Harper

I can see some very promising snippets... If only I hadn't cultivated by backlog to the point of perfection... And I see the poor knight finally got his compensation... ;D

ok guys, I need to make a slight adjustment to the chimera to make his heads blend better to the body. If you have bought it before the adjustment was made just give us a yell, and we will email you an updated pdf. sanitystudios@gmail.com Laterz

I just snatched to 2 monsterpacks from your site. I really love the monsters. Their quality is great. But just one thing: do you have a normal version too? (one without 2,5 D, just flat 2D) Thanks for the info.

I haven't picked up a set yet, but a quick question, are there seperate wings for the Chimera and Dragons (making them 2.5d) or are they wingless? Dryw the Harper

Everything but the Unicorn is 2.5D however on the Chimera it is the heads as there are no wings (at least for our fantasy version). However there is nothing that would keep you from printing out some Griffin wings and pasting them to the Chimera. It should actually work quite nicely. In fact you could take many elements from these sets and mix them around (a Manti-Grif with Chimera heads). As for a fully 2D version, we don't have anything like that in the works. The 2.5D adds more versatility without much added work. However it could be an option in the future if people ask for it loud enough.

So I could print out a set of Dragon Wings in the right color (even if I have to re-size it) for the Chimera. Cool. Now I have to pick up these sets.

These are ace!! What they get wrong in the product description though is the number of Dragons. You can create 2 versions of each of the different colours by changing the belly, so that's 8 dragons and if you count with/without wings there are effectively 16 dragons in this set!!! And if you mix/match different coloured bodies and wings!!!!................ there are lots!!

And if you mix/match different coloured bodies and wings!!!!................ there are lots!! You could even mix and match different wing colors on the same dragon. Damn you, Sanity Studios! Now I really need to buy these sets... ;D

yes the 2 sets are really great. And I hope Sanity will put out more in the near future. Maybe its just my prob that I prefer normal 2D to 2,5D. One of the reasons I like the hobby is the advantage that I can store hundreds of minis in a single shoebox. If those are 2,5D I have the same problem like with plastic/metal minis considering the space they need. But pasting the wings to the minis is the way to go. Thanks for the tipp.

If those are 2,5D I have the same problem like with plastic/metal minis considering the space they need. I have the same problem with Jims aliens - great 2.5D minis and worth the space, but still a bugger to store if you're a compulsive space-exhauster. But in this case I think the .5 might not be that bad, seeing how wings can be folded back, making a 2.5D mini about as thick as 3 2D minis. I can live with that.

Thanks for all the comments. It's very nice to see the support since I feel we worked fairly hard on this one (I would bet Aaron would agree).

Downloaded both sets, built my first Griffin, ran off a Manticore and a Wyvern. Now my Imperfect People are in trouble (not to mention their horses, thanks Xtea). ;D Great sets, very useful.
