Dave, i was looking at your cross-sections wall, and it comes to me to write this post, 'cause you're so good with photo-texturing (pls allow me to invent this term ) Now, we (players) have plenty of choice for buildings and tiles: your models, Worldworks set, Fat Dragon set.... what i'd need is, instead, vegetation. Bushes, trees, grape-vines, hedges, grove of reeds.... as i see them as cross-section things like your walls, they will be simple to build, easy to fold for storage, and they could allow for a fast, unplanned skirmish play over a green cloth, giving good terrain to play without having to build a whole village. We (players) have almost nothing of it. Have you any plan to do something about it?

That's an interesting idea. You could have a line if connected trees like a fruit orchard. Then just set up a few rows of apple trees together to make the whole orchard.

You know I hate to send money to my competitors (although they all seem like really nice folks) -- I think both Fat Dragon and Worldworks have vegetation sets. Trees, at least.
I can't promise that I'll do anything like that soon, but I like the idea. It'd sure be nice to have some trees or shrubs to fill in those little extra spaces on the paper that I sometimes end up with, but don't know what to put there.

Yep. Fat dragon have that Forest adventures set. The only thing i'd use are the bushes: the trees have a 3D trunk (but i like the middle plane in the foliage), there's that dragon turtle that's nice but (to me ) with no use, and some other bits i don't need. Nothing that i can use to make a believable countryside, when folks fights for its own cropland. That's why i started mentioning your cross-section walls. They are exactly what they should be: flat (2.5d) walls without any other thing. More, i like your texturing skills, and so i'd like to see your efforts in it

I'd put a vote in for WorldWorks who are re-releasing Hinterlands as a TLX set. The trees in the background of this image are World Works trees. I really like them and think they are neato.
