So I elected to post this here...

Ok, I downloaded a couple Horde files that has a figure in it that I want to make a *lot* of copies of, BUT I don't want to print 20 copies of one sheet just to get a few copies of a figure.

Any ideas?

If someone would be interested in helping me out, please post here, shoot me an IM, or an email, and I can take it from there.

Since it is one of Jim's designs, and he is on "leave" I don't want to bother him...

Can anybody help a fellow gamer out, please?

Before anyone suggest using Photoshop or GIMP to copy it and so forth, I don't have either program, and even if I did, I am NOT proficient in them.

What's the file and what's the figure you want?

If paper is not an issue and you only want to conserve ink, then you could do as i do, when i want just one figure of a (PDF) page:

Using Adobe Reader, resize the window so it only show the figure you are interested in, and the print the selected view instead of the whole page.

If you also want to conserve paper, you could try to manipulate the print settings, either of the Adobe program or your printer driver, to print multiple coies on one sheet of paper.

There are probably other (and better) ways to do that, but it workd for me, since i rarely need to print out multiple copies of a single model from a page.


Alternatively: Select the figure from the page and copy it to your standard paint program to copy/paste a page full before you print.

Thanks for the advise, Cobra. I tried to do a cut and paste, and it didn't work. I even tried to open it as a bmp. file, and that, too, didn't work.

I would like to have a page that would include these two figures (between 4-6 of each, whatever fits on the page):

Horde 24 - Nazi Power Armor
Horde 10 - Sentry Prototype

Horde 01 - Alien Trooper (Tan/Green) [Third one on the page] - a page of 10 of THOSE (or whatever fits on a page).

If anyone could do this, and shoot it to me, I would appreciate it!

Hi Kiladecus!

If you are looking for the 'Tan Alien' - these were originally designed by Jim Hartman as the alien ZOA race.

Jim never really got around to developing these as he had planned, but I did a range of figures - different poses and colour schemes - that you can download from here:
