Here's the first part of my next cargo accessories set. It'll feature these hay bales: These will be single-layered PDFs, since there's not much to be gained by adding extra layers. Hay is hay. Up next, I'll be putting skins on tree logs and stacks of lumber. Then I'll wrap these all up into a single set. I can skin the lumber stacks tonight, but to get a good bark texture for the logs I'll need to wait for sunlight and snap some photos. I think I know just the tree for the job!

These are fantastic. Not much use for medieval settings, but cool all the same. A hay stack would be great, but geometrically challenging.

I would think it shouldn't be any worse than a truncated four sided pyramid with the proper hay texture. Dryw the Harper

The challenging thing to incorporate would be the needle... I like the bales, just like the previous accessories they are a welcome change to the all-to-common crates. Not that I don't like crates, but there's an abundance, and every publisher has had a go at them. There is more diversity to be had on a battlefield than crates. Forgive my rant. While we're at it, did you consider making cargo nets, i.e. stacks of (ugh) crates, barrels or bales in a net used to haul them aboard? It would probably be a simple box shape, but would make for good scenery in any harbour.

Hay Stack! Yeah. Great bales, anyway. Your talent keep me thinking that you're the man for the "rural vegetation and farmers/villagers common things" scenery set (which i think no one have done before)

Or, come to think of it, the pile-o-rubbish for villages or cities - whenever you need some flavour in your szenes . Seriously, though, it's one of those things commonly left out I think, like toilets.

I remember one of the FDG Dragonshire sets having an outhouse, yes. But I keep catching myself thinking up dungeons or keeps, villages or towers without any kind of sanitary installations. Actually, showers (the kind that are based on a watering can on a hook with a string attached to the nose) are on my to-do-list, but with my speed it will take a while...

Bath House tubs. After a hard few days on the road adventuring many of the characters in my game immediately want to hit the bath houses when they get to civilization. Dryw the Harper (Nothing worse than stinky Imperfect People)

Actually a hay stack of this sort would be pretty easy geometrically: a cylinder with a cone. I like the fence in the background as well. I think a farm set would be great. -Haystack (with burning option) -field stone fence -hedge fence -ceder rail fence -woven branch fence (as in the picture) -A fieldstone barn (with burning option)

As usual, your texturing is awesome. Any chance to see them all with a miniature (paper or plastic), for size comparison?

I'm wondering if it would be possible to build a log cabin or block house out of those logs? You could make a log raft, ferryboat, floating bridge or a pier out of them too. Too many ideas and not enough time.
