I added a second wheel design based on that Viking wagon. It's not a classic spoked wheel, but I think it looks okay -- and it's always cool to have some variety there.
I've finished the multi-layered PDFs and today I'm going to prepare the advert graphics. This should be available sometime in the next 24 hours.
It'll be great to cross this one of my list and free up my mind for some other models. I've been thinking about a funky tavern inspired by the one in the movie Willow.

Wow, there's a movie I haven't seen in years ...
Thanks on the wheel design. If you ever go back and do the cart you were talking about, I think it would fit right in.

Last night turned out to be game night with the fellas, so I wasn't able to finish up the wagon. But I'm back to work on it today.

Hey Dave, what about something like this photo for your spoke texturing: www.kickstandalley.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/09/WWII.jpgObviously not using a motorcycle wheel, but with the idea that you can see the ground between the spokes. Pick a fairly neutral texture (dirty track), blur the focus a little, add a shadow approximately below the wagon body... If you think of the angle this is going to be viewed at (on the tabletop, from a high angle) it should be easy enough to fake-up. Whaddaya think? Shawn.

The spoked wheels I chose for this wagon didn't require very much "background" so I just used a dark brown. Seems to work okay.

Good solution I will keep in mind for the future. Thanks "Mom."

Um, I may have created confusion. I was "talking" to grendelsmother64 about his idea of colouring the space between spokes like the ground so they don't need to be cut out. I shortened his name to "Mom." Didn't mean to freak you out.

I wasn't sure who you were talking to, so it just cracked me up. In case you missed it, the Abandoned Wagon 30mm model is now available. Get yours for just $1.95 and start your own fleet!
