There's only so much I can do with my current in-house playtesting group. If they want to play Blokus, I gotta play Blokus. So my latest project for Solid State War isn't getting the playtesting it deserves, and I figured I would turn to The Papercraft Gaming Community (that's you!) to see if anyone wanted to give this a spin.
So here's the deal. I'd like to set up two or three playtest groups. Just send me an email or a PM and let me know that you're interested. I need serious playtesters and I'll be asking for playtest reports within a couple of weeks. If you tell me "everything went fine" I'm going to assume you didn't play it! So please be prepared to write up at least a paragraph or two about your play experiences. This could be a great chance to get some free stuff and contribute to the development of the game. You'll get your name printed in the product credits and everything.
This offer is open to anyone -- even if you don't own or play Solid State War. I'll send you a free copy of everything currently available for the game, and a playtest pack with the prototypes for the next release.
Since this game can be played entirely using 2D game pieces, you won't have to spend a lot of time building models. Just cut out the 2D pieces and go for it. For playtest purposes, the graphics will probably be rudimentary, but you'll get a free copy of the finished product when it's ready.
Let me know if you're interested. Cheers!

I'd like to try it, but i will not be able to play it in the next two months. I already have Outrider and Sammo's game to chew, so i'm forced to pass. More, my gaming group works like your, so i can't bother them more than two times per month (which already is the 50% of our meets).
Sad, i'd really liked to try it.

I have the same problem! Too many games, not enough time, and not enough people to play them with.
