Oh sorry, I originally looked at this on my iphone and saw the bear as a bison! Looking at it on here I realize, yeah.. it's a bear, baby!

Sure, the ol' "It looked like a bison on the i-Phone excuse!" I have a few more tests and samples to play around with and once I get things where I want, I plan on proceeding with this. It seems to be fun and random enough to intrigue people to follow along! I have been thinking about incorporating these into one of my ROLL playing games... (NOTE: before you correct my spelling to say "Role-playing game," let me explain that I have developed a game system that plays like an RPG, but works like a board game!). I think there is more potential there than just a miniatures skirmish game... but who knows. I just need to get something out there that is worthwhile first. We'll see what I come up with!

Here is Marshal McSqueak and that Bison that Dave Okum was commenting about... (ok, I lied...) Now the Bison should actually be taller and his legs longer... but it is only test sketches. Please offer any comments or suggestions. (Thanks to Parduz, they are carrying time-specific weapons... and even if I don't use the hosstraches in THIS set... they are too awesome not to use with something else). Thanks again for all the feedback! Attachments:

Here is another citizen of Crater Valley... 'Slick Willy the Snake Oil Salesman.' This has the most potential of any other character I have come up with. He can be the guy you go to when you need that rare item... but it will cost ya! He will charge an arm and a leg (since he doesn't have any) and he can dodge the law easier than he can talk his way out of trouble... of course he does speak with a forked tongue. Attachments:

Ok, I must be suffering from ADD! Every time I start to work on a project, I get side-tracked by a differ... ooh something shiny! What was I saying?
Ok... I did some sketches for CRITTER VALLEY, then in the midst of that, I got some inspiration for my miniatures game I have been developing (more or less for 12 years... and it looks NOTHING like the original now). And NOW I was looking at PaperMakeIt's SPACE BASE EXPANDED set that I downloaded last winter... and it gave me the inspiration I need for my Sci-Fi prison escape game I concieved a few years back!
My computer is about 75% where I need it, and my roller-coaster life has become more stable! My guess is by the end of summer, I should be able to COMPLETE some minor projects, and by the top of the year, have the ability to start producing stuff (even if it is more free stuff, or hoard figures)!
Ok. That is all I have for now... Bb, once I get a few more things ironed out, you should start seeing undead FIGURES coming your way (and not just scanned images or pictures... but ACTUAL figures)! I am just a few weeks away from that currently,
Thanks for taking the time to read (or skim) this. Be prepared... you never know what might come out of this warped mind of mine! ;D

Great news!!
It looks like I have my computer fixed, and can now start scanning my work again! That means NEW figures and a certain set of figures that have been put on hold for 6 months may NOW be "finished."
YIPPEE!! ;D

Glad to hear the scanning will commence. I love this idea and want to add them to my collection of paper minis.

I find it surreal that that people of your calibur and skill would even bother with my stuff! (That is a good thing). Working on several projects and am trying to get my computer issues resolved. I have a miniatures game I am finishing (after 13 years in the works). I also have started another game that I have had bouncing around in my head for a few months. I am quite happy with the results thus far. So, once I get my issues resolved I should start producing figures! (I hope)!

Reading through the whole stuff here, I must say, that I like your sketches WAY BETTER than the "Mooboys" commercials (which make me getting eye cancer ...). As Steve put it: perfect lines could kill lots of emotion, expression, humor and all the rest. It can actually kill everything adorable in art.

Well, I have four main projects I am working on right now, so CRITTER VALLEY is going to have to slip onto the back burner for the time being. Be on the look out for L13, EoW and my undead project. These are all on the horizon... just not sure if it is a distant horizon or not. I will come back to this eventually! I promise!
