Yeah.... i was writing a reply to Nik post saying " i'm feeling guilty, now" then i got distracted and forgot to press the Post button. So, i'm the one to blame for the delay.... but having seen what was ready to be published i still think that this set deserve what is coming.... Posterity, thine be the hard decision

So I did my recolors today. I was going to swap out a couple of weapons too, but the cut files were already finished. Hopefully the set will be released this weekend! ;D
So far it's my favorite set. I hope everyone enjoys it.

It's true. I've seen them with my own eyes. Not only are the barbarians now released, but also the catapult and crew. I invited myself over to Nik's house for dinner so we could work on them and get them done. I even brought some food so I could persuade our photographer to come over too and take pictures once they were finished. See for yourselves they really are there. onemonk.com/bellicose-humans

Unbelievable. The catapult is superb, but the barbarians are the best set of paper miniatures I've seen. Not just the quality, but the variety. The hero is stunning and that single pack can make a unit of weapon/shield, great weapons or flails, or a mixed warband...... A perfect wargame unit with enough variety to be RPG characters or skirmish warbands. Just brilliant Now do them on horseback The catapult even has different coloured layers for the crew.

Best figure set ever. And I don't mean 'best paper mini set ever'. I mean best set of minis, 3D, plastic, lead or otherwise. You've set the bar. Between yourself, Davegraffam, Darkmook and Okumarts, there's a revolution coming to our hobby. It's amazing to see that what Jim started is gathering pace. I never want to buy another 3D sculpt. I don't need to. Thankyou

I see you put this set on the DrivetrhuRPG stores! Thanks from customers that prefer to have all their buys under one hoof. (Tough I really wanted to buy your dwarfs there).

Labrat tell me one thing. The method of drawing a new character on a piece of the template will not work in the case of drawing the same example, but the soldiers in different positions ?

Hey Pavaro,
In answer to this and your PM, I have no real method to it. Other than I do utilize Jim's design aid paper that he posted forever ago. Just to do the drawings roughly to proportion and scale. Then I blow them up to refine them and fix proportions. I try to make all the pieces about the same size from figure to figure, such as hands and heads, etc. Sometimes I move figures overtop of other figures in photoshop to see how the proportions are lining up, and sometimes it takes major surgery to fix problems.
After I think I've fixed everything, I get Parduz to have a look at them, and he points out about 50 other things I need to fix. Then I do the final line work and coloring.
It's an extensive process. It isn't easy or fast, which is why I get burnt out so easily.

I would like to achieve the same effect. My characters are different proportions from each other and it looks a little strange. Example
