Whycan't I find any undead/elven or orc chariots out there? I'm sure they'd be massive sellers if someone made them.
I need more war machines!

I am willing to take a crack at this. I was hoping to make it match Jim's elven balista but I can't find it anywhere. Is it yet to be re-released?

Thanks Nik. I was on that page and overlooked it. Now I really have to give it a try.

So I'm bashing some stuff together for an elven chariot. Bits of Jim's balista and some Imperfect wheels. I'm making it 2" wide and 2.5" long. Anything I've overlooked before I get too far? elf chariotWIP by cowboyleland, on Flickr

Very nice! Here's what happened in my mind: 1st thought: the wheels are too much on the back. They could be better where its "circle" intersect the "front"... 2nd thought: because the front is curved, and the wheels will not be straight then 3nd thought: Then why not attach the wheel to the "floor"?
A sort of this shape may work: [ ) () ( [] which mean (in order of appearance): [ A tab to be glued UNDER the chariot floor ) Half of the back of the wheel () the front of the wheel (the one you already have) ( Second half of the wheel [] The chariot floor
You'll have double-thick wheels by just folding paper, and the underside tab will make it even stronger..... .... with a good number of variations, i may build a fantay, papercraft Circus Maximus! ;D ;D

That's excellent, how will you attach the horses?

I'm working on goblin wolf chariots and I'll try and refine my Zombie Plague cart design so it's useable by someone else At the moment it's a bit complex!

I think that the wheels line up with the flat part of the chariot. I don't know what to do about horses or even if something else would be better. That is why I have asked for advice

I think that the wheels line up with the flat part of the chariot. Yeah. I was suggesting a method to have stronger wheels and the freedom to have the chariot in any shape. Here's a (i hope) better explanation: It's a 2.5D wheel: with the optional axis you don't have to have "straight" chariot, and the tab (red shape) glued under the chariot provide some extra strenght. Hope this helps.

I actually built this last night, but I didn' have time to take pictures. It seems pretty strong, it holds two heavy plastic based figs as is and it is only made out of scrap paper, not card. I guess I will look for some horses to put in front of it.

Shouldn't be too hard to mod-out the rider and some of the harness on of the Elven steeds. Thanks for this, I'll have to give it a go.

You can mirror the wheels on the reverse side of the chariot. That way the wheel'll have both sides and the spokes may be cut.
