Thanks! Had a great birthday! The Mrs got me a borescope! We went out to dinner at our favorite restaurant, fed the alpacas, and now I'm enjoying TV, internet, and getting ready for cake and ice-cream.

What are you using a borescope for (they do look helpful when pulling cat5 through the walls)?

Alpacas? This question came up Sunday. We know that alpacas do okay around sheep and donkeys. How do they get along with cows?
I never see them in a field with Bovines. Do they not work and play well with each other?

Nik: Our house was build in 1820 and there's plenty of mystery places to poke a borescope into to see what going on. It's not a fancy model (it was on sale at Harbor Freight), but it will work for trying to find out if certain walls have insulation, which way the pipes/wires run, where that new leak is coming from, etc. We also have a very large hole in the backyard that I might investigate. Could be groundhogs, but I don't know... Hopefully that adventure doesn't end in rabies shots! Vermin King: I'm not sure how they get along with cows or other animals. Our alpacas hate big dogs, tolerate cats, and chase our chickens. Da' Boys:

Happy Birthday Waffle.
Llamas do well with cattle. An uncle of mine used to keep a pair to chase the coyotes that were eating his calves away. They hate dogs... and scare coyotes apparently.

I thought a borescope measured how BORING you were. I guess I don't need to get one afterall. (I thought it might be nice to measure 100% on SOMETHING). Regardless... happy belated birthday!
