Hi all! I am a lead miniature player that have been captivated by Over Soul miniatures, from there, I arrive here, and I have discovered that paper armies is a great alternative to the lead wargaming. I have too much projects to buy all the lead miniatures that I need, so I have printed some ACW from Bhoritz, for begin; and I am so happy with them that posted a entry in my blog slormwargames.blogspot.com/2011/09/paper-armies-i-no-money-no-spce-no-time.htmlI hope that soon I could upload more things. (I don't know where I have post this threat)

Thanks for the mention. You're post mentions many of my same sentiments about paper vs metal minis.

Thanks!

Ditto on the bases.
Should we warn him that collecting leads to kitbashing, kitbashing to designing, designing to publishing, publishing to business? (That reads like the mantra in Dune.)

Hey, Slorm,
Hola! I have a question for you. In the last few pictures you have some soldiers pictured. Are these your own drawings, or are these some that you have found on-line?
I am asking because I have downloaded those figures in the past, and lost the site where I found them.
They are known as (or at least saved as) SF Aliens, adn so forth. There are some X-Files-type figures, some various "Space Marine" type figures carrying lightsabers, and so forth.
If these are yours, let me be among the first to say "Good job." If they aren't, then just let me say "Welcome."
If these aren't yours, perhaps you could redirect me to the site where I can download these again. The computer that had these figures on them crashed, and I MAY have had them on my USB drive (but that is MIA since our move).
These figures are pretty simple, and instead of having a red line (like us OneMonkers are used to), you simply fold the WHOLE page in half and cut the figures that way. These figures don't have a front and back, but are double-fronted (meaning the front is mirrored onto the back).
There are some grey "Space Marines" that are profiles, so the double front isn't as noticable.
Once again, if this isn't you, please let me know where you found them. They were among the first paper figures I ever made.
Thanks, and welcome again.
