The Sakamoto models are N-scale, but scale up pretty well. It's a site you have to visit often, because most of the models are only up for a very short time.

Okay, not all that useful in rpg's but I think it is really cool In Japan, the Boys Festival is coming up, and with that they put up a samurai armor display. There are a number of these available on the net. Niku-mansei did something different You can either do the display (with a table knife instead of sword) or you can dress up your GIJoe's. The red armor and black armor come in both 1/6 and 1/12 scale, so you can have the clash of the Samurai Joes www.niku-mansei.com/contents/05club/papercraft/paper_yoroikabuto.htmlAnd, since they are a beef company, the optional horns are bull horns ...

cp.c-ij.com/en/contents/CNT-0023736/index.htmlKaminarimon Gate of Senso-ji Temple and it's a pop-up card! Those pop-up cards are amazing. There is one with cranes. Other subjects are a Chinese dragon, a phoenix and a santa sleigh. Just checked and counting the tatebanko, I've got five Kaminarimon gate models. I believe this will be the first one I build

Odd, I thought I'd already posted the temple posted on PaperMau today, papermau.blogspot.com/2018/04/kuwana-besshon-hondoji-temple-paper.html Not sure why they didn't make the color more like the real building and do four posts and two sets of stairs on the front. It's the most identifiable feature of this temple. Eh EDIT-- I guess I should have translated the page. The building still on the site is not the Main Hall, which the model represents. The building that is now a school is one of the ancillary buildings from the complex

I used to own a AD&D (1st edition ?) fantasy setting called Kara-tur which was a rule supplement for oriental inspired fantasy RPG adventures (at least, a westerner perception of oriental fantasy). It feels like it could be a good fodder for oriental inspired monsters.

Dave Okum (Okumarts) did some oriental stuff, including a tea House and an Elder House. Papierschnitzel has some nice stuff, too - including a Chinese Courtyard House and handcart.

Robert Tauxe (papermodelfan at PaperModelers.com) donated his collection of tatebanko to the Asian Museum of the Smithsonian. And they are now online for download! asia.si.edu/search/Robert+Tauxe
