With a slight bases' modification, because these are made specifically for the "Steel Warriors" wargame rules, I hope much in a commercial production of these beautiful paper minis.
A beautiful cover ( there are already many very good images ), simple instructions, a pdf file ( or other type )... because these figures, imho, deserve this very much.

Giorgio, I plan to make an album. There will be miniatures, descriptions of weapons, equipment, photos of minis and themed illustrations!

Today the fifth "Steel Warriors - Battle for Empire" ( 5 years edition ) promotional free set were published. This set contains six papers minus taken from the next "first" album ( its publication is expected between December and January and it will contain 64 paper minis. 32 basic infantry Steel Warriors Motorized Infantry, 32 basic infantry former emperial Keno infantry squad, 8 vehicles and paper minis crews. probably several artworks, perhaps stories and other material ... ) and six promo paper minis fron the second album ... Two Steel Warriors' androids and four ex imperial shock troops. all figures are unique, as already said. Finally, bayonets are back in the paper trenches of near ( or very far ) future. This free set, like the previous promotional sets, can be downloaded from this link: paperworlds.ru/steel-warriors/steel-warriors-stuff/sw_miniatures/ ( or, translated: translate.google.com/translate?sl=ru&tl=en&js=n&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&layout=2&eotf=1&u=http%3A%2F%2Fpaperworlds.ru%2Fsteel-warriors%2Fsteel-warriors-stuff%2Fsw_miniatures%2F&act=url ) news on this project can be tracked ( a translation from russian to english is useful ): paperworlds.ru/ and [ulr]http://vk.com/sw_battle_for_empire[/url] Sorry, but my understanding of the original language is not very precise, so if there is to say more, add, clarify, correct ... I hope, if necessary, Tomoko will do directly.

I believe they were 15 mm, but I could be wrong.

In the dead microscale edition infantry is the size of 18 mm. Now the size of the infantry is 25 mm. The old 3D technic for new minis are too small. unfortunately From 2007 to 2009 infantry was 25 mm. In 2010, I reduced the infantry size by 30% (the height of the soldiers was 18 mm). This will fit the more infantry and vehicles on the sheets. So is it possible to make models of houses. On a small table can fit the whole area of the city. But the details is also very much reduced. Soldiers are like little cockroaches. They become difficult to distinguish. I stopped doing microscale miniatures - back to the good old 25 mm Old 3D-models from the Microscale Edition 2010 (dead set)

Thanks a lot for the updates on your project tomoko. My opinion about your figures is known. If it were possible it could only get better. Also the new vehicles' previews ( Amolo, Aktash ... ) are very excellent. They are beautiful models with great textures. I can't wait that this your project becomes available. ;D Ciao.

After almost two years it seems that my friend Dima is back in "business". Paper minis are a great real "passion". Can't stay without them, in the end. And Tomoko is a very great paper minis' author, imho. So he opened a new personal page on VK ( I call it Russian facebook, I can not explain it better ): Tomoko's Paper MiniaturesEven in this case, the page is in Russian language but on the right of them some information are in English. "Documents" is the magic word. there are four files ( vk.com/docs?oid=-92217457 ). Three in pdf format ( 65 MB, 17 MB and 18 MB ) with his new paper minis and one zipped ( 170 MB with all his old works ). The old files are beautiful and good but the new ones are amazing ( it's not enough ). Later I'll try to post some images. For now two videos: Ciao

OK. The following are paper minis' images ( bad pics, I'm sorry ) that you can find in the three pdf files. There are also several crew paper minis and vehicles ( these are gorgeous too, imho ). And this is just the beginning of his new project. After this I will not bother you more. Now you have everything you need for deciding and evaluate.

Have these all gone to the void? Can't pull them up on Wayback Machine due to the robots.txt. Otherwise blank pages.
On one there was a log in for vk. Do we have to log in to get access?

Have these all gone to the void? Can't pull them up on Wayback Machine due to the robots.txt. Otherwise blank pages. On one there was a log in for vk. Do we have to log in to get access? I try to answer. Two/three posts above there is the new link. This is a functional new page VK. I consider VK as a Russian facebook, but probably I'm wrong. It can be something different. I am registered so I I log automatically. But other users, here in this forum, have said that don't need to be registered. On the right, towards the bottom, there is the English writing "documents", it's the link for the files' page ( this is a link ). In the files section there are six files. Four of them are pdf files. I suggest you download these first. Then there is a zipped file, but it's huge, 170 MB, which collects all tTomoko's previous works. The last file, zipped, 6 MB, have Russian wargaming rules.

It's amazing how the art has matured. the variety of dynamic poses in the figures is excellent, it really seems that they are in ferocious combat. I'm still weirded by these blank eyes tough.
